On November 8, the 22nd Chinese Journalists' Day, Fu Xiaolin, secretary of the county party committee, came to the county Rong Media Center to visit journalists and hold a forum. Wen Longmei, member of the standing committee of the county party committee and director of propaganda, and Guo Tingting, deputy county magistrate, attended the meeting.
At the County Rong Media Center, on behalf of the county party committee and county government, Fu Xiaolin extended greetings to the journalists of the county and thanked everyone for their contributions to the propaganda work of Ji'an County. Fu Xiaolin learned in detail about the news gathering, editing and broadcasting process, and carefully inquired about the measures and plans of the Rong Media Center in "keeping right, innovating, integrating and developing". Fu Xiaolin urged everyone to unswervingly follow the party, publicize the party's ideas, reflect the voice of the people, record the spirit of the times, and spread the good voice of Ji'an County.
At the forum, Fu Xiaolin pointed out that the Rong Media Center is the largest mainstream media in the county, and everyone must take a clear-cut stand in stressing politics, firmly establish the "four consciousnesses," strengthen the "four self-confidences," and resolutely achieve the "two safeguards." As the mouthpiece of the party, the county media center should take the lead in stressing party spirit, politics, and loyalty. It is necessary to publicize the party's voice and the party's policies, especially how to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at our grassroots level, how the county party committee and county government implement the decision-making and deployment of the provincial party committee and the municipal party committee, and how the county carries out the vivid practice of the construction of "six counties and six districts".
Fu Xiaolin demanded that we should strengthen our study and enhance our ability. All journalists should study and deeply understand the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and the relevant policies and requirements of the party at the first time. Only by studying, understanding, and grasping well can we publicize it well in practical work, so as to improve the popularity and reputation of Ji'an County.
Fu Xiaolin stressed: We must love our posts and dedicate ourselves to our work and be willing to dedicate ourselves. Because of their professional characteristics and job requirements, the vast number of journalists must always maintain and carry forward the style of arduous struggle and the spirit of dedication, strengthen their responsibility, improve the quality of propaganda, persist in abiding by the principle of correctness and innovation, accelerate integrated development, strengthen external dissemination, and launch more news works with height, temperature, depth, and intensity.
