At a time when the Qingming Dynasty is approaching and the atmosphere of remembering the ancestors is getting stronger and stronger, the reporters of the China News Network followed the network theme interview group of "Qingming Sacrifice of the Ancestors and the Transmission of Chinese Culture to China" into the Sima Qian Ancestral Hall of the "Sacred Domain of Literature and History" in Hancheng, Shaanxi Province, to feel the wind and bones of Shi Sheng and understand the greatness of the "History of History".

Sima Qian Ancestral Hall, commonly known as Sima Temple, was built to commemorate the famous historian Sima Qian. The ancestral tomb is located on a hill southeast of Zhichuan Town, Hancheng, east of the Yellow River, west of Liangshan Mountain, and was announced by the State Council as the second batch of national cultural relics protection units in 1982.
Walking into the ancestral tomb complex, I saw that Sima Qian's ancestral hall stretched from the bottom of the slope to the top, and the cliff was next to the layer. If you want to go to the tomb of Sima Qian, you must also go through a steep Sima Ancient Road.
According to the narrator to reporters, the Sima Ancient Road was first built in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and has a history of nearly 3,000 years. The ancient road is paved with stone strips during the Northern Song Dynasty, and now it is uneven and inconvenient to walk. The clear and numerous ruts on the stone strips are the historical testimony of the prosperity of the place, and they seem to show the ups and downs and tragedies of Tai Shi Gong's life.
Originally 1500 meters long, the stone road is now only more than 300 meters. At that time, it was also the only way for people in Hancheng and the surrounding areas to go to Chang'an, playing the role of an ancient "highway".

Through the ancient road, you will reach the tomb of Sima Qianci, which resembles a yurt. The tomb is about 3.08 meters high and has a circumference of 18 meters. According to legend, it was built for the order of Kublai Khan, the ancestor of the Yuan Dynasty, mainly because of its grand national concept of "Huayi Tongzong, equality of nationalities", which provided a theoretical basis for Kublai Khan to establish a unified and orthodox feudal dynasty.
On the top of the tomb, there is a cooper planted, the same age as the tomb, and the branches are divided into five, known as "Five Sons Dengkebai". According to the narrator, it is recorded in the Zhou Li that in ancient times, there was a monster called "ray elephant" who was afraid of the smell of cypress trees. In order to drive away the monsters, people choose to plant cypress trees.
Before the college entrance examination every year, many college entrance examination students will come to The Sima Qian Ancestral Hall to worship, dipped in the aura of a generation of great people, hoping to achieve good results in the examination.
Around the tomb wall, there are also brick carved bagua patterns and floral patterns. In front of the tomb is a stone stele inscribed with the inscription "Sima Cemetery of Sima han taishi".

In order to spread the "Sima Qian Spirit", Hancheng City launched the city brand of "Shi Ji Hancheng Yellow River Special Zone" through a series of influential large-scale events and theme forums such as the Sima Qian Grand Ceremony of The Sacrifice of Shi Sheng, the Sima Qian Cup National "History" Reading Contest, the "History of History" International Forum, and the "History of History" Lecture Hall.
Nowadays, Xiyu Expressway, along the Yellow Highway, 108 National Highway and other traffic arteries run through the north and south of the scenic spot, where there is both a deep cultural history and a beautiful natural landscape, which has become an important stop in the study and leisure tourism itinerary in Shaanxi.
In the Sima Qian Ancestral Temple Scenic Area, the statue of Sima Qian cast in bronze still stands tall, allowing generations of Chinese sons and daughters to relive their tenacious and upright Shi Shengfeng bones.
