Professor Pan Chaoyang, who served as the executive director of the "Chinese Geographical Society" in Taiwan and an adjunct professor of the Department of East Asian Studies at Taiwan Normal University, has conducted in-depth research on the development process of "Taiwan independence" on the island, openly opposed the "Taiwan independence" syllabus for a long time, and is a well-known representative figure of Taiwan's reunification faction.
