Zheng Xiaohui said that since jacaranda is highly valued, more people need to study it to make it better serve human beings and cities. She proposed that Xichang City and Xichang University jointly build a jacaranda research center to become a platform for systematic research on jacaranda in China. At the same time, she also suggested that Xichang set up an jacaranda festival, using flowers as a medium, through the creation of solar terms, extending the freshness period and industrial chain of jacaranda, and helping the development of Xichang's cultural tourism industry.
