Ou Xiaohui said that the only wetland parks that have been built along the Dongping River are Green Island Lake Texture Park, Shiwan Wetland Park, and Banyuedao Wetland Park, but these three parks have not yet been connected. "We are looking forward to being able to build the Dongping River into a flowing landscape of our city and a beautiful scenery of the water environment like the river beach in Wuhan and the Xiangjiang Sightseeing Belt in Changsha, so that its 17-kilometer shoreline can be greened and can become a good place for citizens to relax."
Ou Xiaohui suggested that after the completion of the coastal landscape, the night scene can also be beautified and brightened, the outline of the river bank can be outlined, and the surrounding park landscape and buildings can be brightened at night, creating a Zen city version of the "Pearl River Night Tour".
