According to the organizers, Chen Lizhong's Master and Apprentice Exhibition is one of the series of exhibitions of "Yiyao Southeast - Chinese Arts and Crafts Masters (Fujian) Art Heritage Exhibition". As a special exhibition of Shoushan stone carving, this exhibition exhibited more than 60 pieces of Shoushan stone carving masterpieces by Chen Lizhong and his apprentices.

Chen Lizhong, also known as Guan Sen, a native of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is the dean and professor of the Institute of Arts and Crafts of Fujian Normal University of Technology, and a master of Chinese arts and crafts. He studied under Mr. Feng Jiuhe, a master of Chinese arts and crafts, a representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage Shoushan stone carving technique at the national level, a member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy, a national first-class artist, a special famous artist of arts and crafts, and the deputy director of the Jade Committee of the China Arts and Crafts Society.

In the exhibition hall, Chen Lizhongshoushan's new stone carving "New Look of the Lower Party" is based on the landscape of Xiadang Township, Shouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, through the characteristics of shoushan stone carving technology, using relief techniques, and artistic treatment: presenting a long and winding stream launched by the close-up Luanfeng Bridge, the water surface extends to the distance, the landscape houses are staggered, dense and orderly, the picture is elegant and empty, and the beautiful scenery of the Lower Dang Township is restored on the layout of the changing scenery and the composition of the grass, trees and stones.
