Chinese rhinoceros
It turns out that in China, there used to be wild rhinos growing
In China, there are three species of rhinos: indian rhinoceros, Sumen rhinoceros, Javan rhinoceros, these three rhinos collectively known as "Chinese rhinoceros"
These rhinos are easy to recognize, and they have one thing in common in appearance: the skin is hard and black with a dark grayish purple band with small rivet-like nodules attached to them, and there are wide folds under the neck and at the joints of the limbs, making the body look like it is wearing a piece of armor
Just like the example picture above, a armor-style skin with fairly obvious features
These rhinos can grow up to 1 ton, and although they are a little ugly and fierce- looking, they are very gentle animals, relatively timid, and will only frantically attack enemies when they are injured and attacked, and slam each other with hard rhino horns
Although bulky, they can still walk or run at fairly fast speeds, reaching about 50 kilometers per hour over short distances
Chinese rhinos were once widely distributed throughout most of China, inhabiting mainly forest-edged mountainous areas close to water sources, but unfortunately in 1922 these rhinos disappeared completely for a number of reasons
The weather is getting colder, rhinos are tropical and subtropical animals that prefer warm climates, and the environment in China in the 20th century was not suitable for rhinos to continue to survive
The habitat environment is constantly shrinking
Man-hunted, because the economic and medicinal value of rhino horn is extremely high, they become victims for profit
We have no native rhinos anymore, and all the rhinos you see in the park are imported from abroad, which is a bit sad to think about, but this is "natural selection, survival of the fittest"
