The shape of this year's pink kudzu is very beautiful, but a good pink kudzu, in addition to good appearance, its quality is also very important. The evaluation of kudzu should not only see whether the kudzu meat is white enough, but also to see whether it is sweet enough to eat.

If there are spots, it will affect the quality. Good pink kudzu has no spots, is smooth, white and pink, and somewhat reflective, and there is no slag in the mouth.
The expert group comprehensively scored 20 candidate kudzu plants on the spot from the criteria of kudzu shape, kudzu color, quality, taste, etc., and finally, the pink kudzu planted by Li Jiehong in The village of Gehebushe won the title of "Ge Wang".

Awards were also given to "The Most Beautiful Ge Nong" and "Single Branch, The Heaviest Award of the Whole Plant".
The 69-year-old Uncle Ge Nongquan brought the heaviest and largest pink kudzu in the history of Gaoming this time, and this powder kudzu weighed a total of 88.4 kilograms, barely equivalent to the weight of an adult.
Ge Nong Li Dongquan:
I have been planting this pink kudzu for more than a year, mainly special cultivation. Pay attention to the control of pests and diseases and the uniform fertilization of planting.
Heshui powder kudzu is a well-known high-quality agricultural product, and has won many honorary titles such as "National Geographical Indication Product", "National Famous And Excellent New Agricultural Product", "Most Popular Guangdong Characteristic Agricultural Product" and so on. Gaoming is the largest production and export base of green pink kudzu in the province.
Since 2018, in order to further publicize the clever Heshui Powder Kudzu, Gaoming District has held a Ge Wang Championship once a year. Xie Zhiqiang, deputy mayor of the district, said that in the next stage, he will start to do a good job in the planning of the Heshui Powder Ge Wanmu Industrial Park, the docking of the production and marketing of the Powder Kudzu, the packaging promotion and publicity work, and further enhance the quality and popularity of heshui Powder Kudzu.
