Duke Huan of Zheng's name was Ji You, the younger brother of King Xuan of Zhou. During King Xuan's reign, he enfeoffed his younger brother Ji You to Zhengdi (In Huayin, Shaanxi after Fengxiangnan, Shaanxi) as a satellite state for the Zhou royal family, the year was 806 BC. Later, King Xuan's son Youwang succeeded to the throne and appointed his uncle Zheng Huangong as the Situ of the Zhou royal family, making an inappropriate analogy that Zheng Huangong is now the general manager of the branch and the deputy general manager of the head office. The appointment of King You was quite successful, and Zheng Huan was very capable, and during his tenure as a Situ, he promoted the people of the Zhou Dynasty to live in harmony, and the people were very happy, and the governance of the world was in order. Later, King You of Zhou favored The King of Zhou, abolished the long and young, and did all the things that were done without a way, and many princes betrayed the Zhou Dynasty.
Huan Gong saw this situation and thought that the Zhou Dynasty disaster was coming and the qi was exhausted, so he began to find a way back for Zheng Guo, and he consulted Tai Shi Bo where it would be most advantageous to migrate and develop. Why did Huan Gong seek advice from Tai Shi Bo for development? Because the position of Taishi records the major events of the Zhou royal family and the princes, as well as the records of their exchanges, etc., and the calendar is also quite familiar with astronomical geography and climatic conditions, it is said that it is the right person to consult him. Tai Shi Bo suggested that he settle in the east of Luoshui and south of the Yellow River (in present-day Zhengzhou, Henan), on the grounds that the monarchs of the kingdoms of Qi and Hao in this area loved to take advantage of small things, and the people did not obey them, plus Huan Zheng was deeply loved by the people, and they did not dare to say anything by lending a piece of land to these two countries. Huan Gong was very cautious, so he proposed a different plan for Tai Shi Bo to analyze and analyze, Tai Shi Bo believed that if he moved south and there was a Chu state there, it would be unfavorable to zheng guo in the future; to move west and the people there were greedy and profitable, and the Inuyasha tribe was unstable. Duke Huan also asked which princes and parliaments flourished after the decline of the Zhou royal family? Tai Shi Bo believed that Qi, Qin, Jin, and Chu would prosper, and later history also proved Tai Shi Bo's god prediction. After repeated deliberations through dialogue with Tai Shibo, Huan Duke asked King You to move east and move his people to the east of Luoshui, just in the area of present-day Xingyang and Xinmi in Henan, the state of Yu and the state of Hao indeed sacrificed ten cities, and the capital was set at the capital (the site of Xiangcheng Inoyang, today), and finally he established the state of Zheng, and later the capital was moved to the area of Xinzheng in Henan after several migrations.
