Dr. Liu served as vice president of FAW Technology R&D Institute, vice president of the Electric Vehicle Branch of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China, head of the China Expert Group of the Working Group on Electric Vehicle Safety Regulations (EVS) of the United Nations World Forum on Coordination of Vehicle Regulations (un/wp29), and a special allowance expert of the State Council and a senior expert of Jilin Province.
Dr. Liu completed his master's and doctoral studies at Jilin University of Technology (now the Faculty of Engineering of Jilin University), known as the "Whampoa Military Academy" of China's automobile manufacturing, and has 8 years of vehicle performance research and development experience and 17 years of new energy vehicles and automotive electronic products research and development experience.
Dr. Liu has presided over the completion of a number of key product development projects and new energy national 863 major special projects, and won two first prizes for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress.
