Gao Yingpei (1928 – February 14, 2002), born in the lunar calendar, was a famous cross-talk actor and cross-talk performance artist, a native of Tianjin. In 1985, he was named one of the top ten comedians in China. He was a member of the 8th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the China Qu Artists Association, and a member of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy.
Gao Yingpei was born in 1928 (the year of the lunar calendar), and in 1949, Gao Yingpei studied under Mr. Zhao Peiru. After completing the division, he successively worked with Ren Mingqi and Chang Baolin

Gao Yingpei (2) co-performed, and old artists Zhou Deshan and Ji Pingsan all gave him a show. Later, he entered the Tianjin Heping District Quyi Acrobatic Troupe and cooperated with Fan Zhenyu, becoming a golden partner in the cross-talk industry "Gao Fan". In 1958 and 1962, he and Fan Zhenyu performed on the front line of Fujian twice. Representative works include "Fishing", "Frontline Diary" and so on. In 1979, he was transferred to the ALLFTU Cultural and Labor Corps. In 1985, he was named one of the top ten comedians in China.
