Gao Shi (c. 704 – c. 765), courtesy name Dafu and Zhongwu, was a Han Chinese native of Bohai County (bohai County, in present-day Jing County, Hebei) during the Tang Dynasty, and later moved to Songcheng in Songzhou (present-day Suiyang, Shangqiu, Henan). A famous poet of the Tang Dynasty, he served as a waiter in the Punishment Department, a regular attendant on scattered horses, and a waiter in Bohai County, and was known as Gao Changshi.
