On April 23, World Book Day, Sanger, who now lives in Hangzhou, returned to his hometown of Chengdu to do a new book sharing session in the cherry blossom garden on the roof. "Inverted Skin" doesn't look like poetry, it's a little story in life

Sanger's poems, like her novels, are the recording and amplification of moments of life, so concrete that they can imagine a picture. Drink tea, watch the rain, eat fish, blow the wind... These ordinary and short moments are rendered by the poet's subjective feelings, and then written with the poet's heart, there is an extraordinary poetry. She did not write poetry with knowledge, but with a flexible heart. She said she didn't want to inject too much literary into the poem, "What I wanted to do was to accurately express life, life, and the world I saw." ”

There are two types of writers in the world: one is that the fictional ability is strong, and the creative material is far away from real life, which is almost equivalent to "making something out of nothing", such as JK Rowling; the other is that the writing object is relatively close to reality, and the creation of life materials.
Sanger said he belonged to the latter. Whether it is the work "When I Was a Child" between fiction and non-fiction, or the poetry collection "Rolling Skin", there are very few fictional parts, and most of them have real sources. "I feel more about people and things I know and have had real interactions with. If you want to fiction, you also base yourself on the reality of experience. My kind of writing may be far from professional writing, and I am more stupid, but this is me. ”
This "unprofessionalization" of writing is also reflected in her relaxed attitude towards writing. She will not deliberately look for and wait for the subject matter, but just keep sensitive as a person, keep curious about the things around her, "open the five senses to absorb those things outside", when there is inspiration to come strong feelings, she will immediately write. For example, every day I wake up naturally in the morning, and in the process of practicing calligraphy, painting, walking, making simple food, something comes to me, I grab it and write it down. But I'm not going to wait for it, it comes to me, and I'll just receive it. ”
The poet He Xiaozhu, the editor of The Upside Down, read Sanger's poems and "felt like reading a novel, a poem is a small story, the language is clean and vivid, and the narrative deviates from the general lyric poetry writing, closer to the novel." Sanger said that he was influenced by the poet and editor of the book, He Xiaozhu. When she first tried to write poetry, she was always a little dissatisfied, and He Xiaozhu changed two words, which gave it a new life and a harmonious rhythm. Referring to the poetry teacher He Xiaozhu, Sanger's tone was solemn, "I respect him, and he also encourages me." He would keep a strict check on my poetry.
