During the Song Dynasty in China, there was a talent named Sun Shan, who was not only humorous, but also very good at telling jokes, so people nearby gave him a nickname of "funny talent".
Once, he went to the capital with a son of a fellow villager to take the examination for lifting people. When the list was released, although Sun Shan's name was listed at the bottom of the list, he was still on the list, and the son of the fellow countryman who went with him was not admitted. Soon, Sun Shan returned home first, and his fellow villagers came to ask him if his son had passed the examination. Sun Shan was embarrassed to say it directly, and it was inconvenient to conceal it, so he casually read out two verses that were not poems: "The end of Xie Yuan is Sun Shan, and Xianlang is even outside Sun Shan." ”
Xie Yuan is the first place in the examination system stipulated in China. And Sun Shan's so-called "Xie Yuan" in the poem refers to the general examination of people. The whole meaning of his poem is: "The last place on the list of people is my Sun Shan, and Ling Lang's name is still behind my Sun Shan." ”
Since then, according to this story, people have applied for schools or taken various examinations, and have not been admitted, called "Mingluosun Mountain".
