He Wu (c. 73 BC – C. 3 AD), courtesy name Jungong, was a native of Pi County, Shu County, Western Han Dynasty (present-day Pidu District, Chengdu), and chancellor of the Western Han Dynasty. In his early years, he studied the I Ching, and later successively served as a county commander, a counselor, a yangzhou assassin, a chengxiang sizhi, a Qinghe county taishou, a yanzhou assassin history, a lieutenant of the si li school, a jing zhaoyin, a chu domestic history, and a ting lieutenant.
