The father and son are Xiong Jinyue and Xiong Xiaosan.
Xiong Jinyue is his father, and Xiong Xiao is his third son. The father is a Communist Party and the son is a Kuomintang.
Xiong Jinyue is not a "small communist party", but a "big communist". He participated in the Xinmin Society in Hunan, also participated in the May Fourth Movement, and also served as the academic director of the famous Hunan Self-Study University, joined the CCP after the defeat of the Great Revolution in 1927, and then worked as an accountant in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai, responsible for finance and funding, known as "Boss Xiong".
In 1931, because Gu Shunzhang defected to the enemy, the Party Central Committee was forced to evacuate, and he was forced to leave Shanghai and go to the Honghu Su District, where he later served as the minister of propaganda and education and the secretary general of the provincial Soviets — this official is not small.

Xiong continued his underground work in Shanghai, and was later arrested by the French Concession patrol and sentenced to 8 years in prison, and only after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in 1937 did he leave the prison. After that, he went to Chongqing to serve as the general manager of the CCP's Xinhua Daily. He ran a newspaper, not only publicized the Eighth Route Army's War of Resistance, but also made a lot of money by selling newspapers, and gained a reputation: a red butler who managed the party's financial management. Even his daughter-in-law in Chongqing and Xiong Xiaosan's wife said to people: "He (father-in-law) is a very rich capitalist!" ”
Xiong Jinyue is a Communist Party in his bones, but his son Xiong Xiaosan is a Kuomintang and is still a hardcore.
Xiong Xiaosan was born in the sixth term of Huangpu, who fought in the Southern Expedition to the North and also resisted japan, and in 1946 became the commander of the 200th Division, the main division of the 5th Army, one of the five main forces of the Kuomintang Army, with the rank of major general (later promoted to lieutenant general). After the outbreak of the civil war, Xiong Jinyue repeatedly sent people to carry words, telling his son to revolt and throw himself into the light. However, Xiong Xiaosan ignored everything and went his own way. In September 1948, he succeeded Qiu Qingquan and was promoted to commander of the 5th Army.
A famous son of the Communist Party actually became the ace commander of the Kuomintang.

However, only a month after he was promoted to commander, he led his troops to evacuate Xuzhou with Qiu Qingquan's corps, and as a result, hundreds of thousands of troops fell into the encirclement of the People's Liberation Army on the way, trapped in the snow and wind of Chen Guanzhuang, the officers and men had no hope of reinforcements, hunger and cold, and even the old superiors Du Yuming and Qiu Qingquan were sad and miserable, and they had no idea. However, Xiong Xiaosan was a famous optimist, and when he saw them sighing, he made a few jokes from time to time to make everyone happy.
Why isn't Xiong Xiaosan afraid?
He wasn't because he had a Communist Dad.
Rather, it is the art of escaping.
The crowd survived the encirclement until January 9, 1949. On the afternoon of the same day, the People's Liberation Army launched a general offensive, and everyone knew that the war situation had reached its final moment, and officers and men fled in all directions, and even Du Yuming and Qiu Qingquan had to flee from Chen Guanzhuang's garrison to Chen Zhuang, where the 5th Army headquarters was located, to "survive."
However, the 5th Army could not break through the encirclement. Du Yuming and Qiu Qingquan had the appearance of waiting to die. At dusk, Xiong Xiaosan actually said to Qiu Qingquan in a joke way: "If a person acts, there is a way to get out." ”
Qiu Qingquan asked urgently, "Is there any way for you to get out?" ”
Xiong Xiaosan still said, "As long as I am allowed to act personally, I am sure that I can go out." ”
How to get out of the iron barrel-like encirclement? He still didn't answer clearly.
In the evening, the battle situation completely collapsed, and Du Yuming and Qiu Qingquan prepared to risk death to break through. Unexpectedly, Xiong Xiaosan could not find a figure. The two had no choice but to leave the "master" Xiong Xiaosan and make a breakthrough, resulting in one prisoner and one death, and the entire army was destroyed.
And where is Xiong Xiaosan going? He did not die in battle, nor was he taken prisoner, nor did he go to his biological father, Xiong Jinyue.
A dozen days later, he actually appeared in Hong Kong, thousands of miles away.
How does Xiong Xiaosan "act personally" and "fly" out of the circle of iron barrels?
No one knows, and it is still a mystery.
Since then, father and son have not seen each other. Xiong died in January 1973 at the age of 87.
However, in the 80s, Xiong Xiao returned to the mainland three times. He died in Beijing in September 1987 at the age of 82.
