Manufacturing
In January 2021, Geely Holding Group announced that it has signed a framework cooperation agreement with FF, and the two sides plan to cooperate in the field of technical support and engineering services, and explore the possibility of joint venture between Geely and Foxconn to provide foundry services. At the same time, as a financial investor, Geely Holding Group also participated in a small number of investments in the listing of FF SPAC. That is to say, behind Faraday's future, with the endorsement of traditional car brands such as Geely, there is no problem in production and manufacturing.
Tesla manufactures cars in the form of a gigafactory, such as Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory, which covers an area of 860,000 square meters. According to the relevant introduction, the plant currently mainly produces two models, the Model 3 and model Y, and plans to increase production to 450,000 units in 2021 and up to 500,000 units in the future. According to a report by patent data analytics firm Randolph Square IP (RSIP), FF's diverse patent portfolio is more powerful in its class than many leading OEMs including Toyota, Ford and Honda. In terms of key technologies, the FF electric vehicle patent portfolio is on par with Tesla, and the technical reserves are at the same level as Tesla.
Product features
As early as the beginning of this year, FF and Bosch jointly conducted in Baudette, Minnesota, and Flatrock, Michigan, and its FF 91 electric vehicle conducted a number of tests on ice and snow roads of various slopes at sub-zero degrees Celsius temperatures, completing the second quarter winter test and verification. These are all tests that must be done in the development of the car, and Faraday Future still has work to do.

According to Faraday Future's official information, the FF 91 model has more than 14,000 orders so far. The FF 91 sells for $280,000 in the U.S. and about 2.8 million yuan in China. FF has now opened the booking channels of FF 91 in China, namely the FF 91 Futurist Alliance Edition with a deposit of 50,000 yuan, the FF 91 Futurist Alliance Edition with a global deposit of 300 units has been sold out; the FF 91 Futurist Edition with a deposit of 20,000 yuan can currently be booked; and the FF 91 that has not yet been sold.
Actively lay out the models
In addition to the FF 91, a flagship model priced at more than $280,000, FF will also further launch entry-level models to achieve the purpose of volume. The official plan is that after 18 months after the launch of the FF91, the FF81 will be launched at a price of $59,000; and the FF 71, which costs $49,000, will begin design and development in 2022, and Faraday's future product line is very clear. In this form of lowering the threshold from high-end products, such a model is the same as the development process of Tesla and Weilai, and this form has proved to be feasible.
