Weiling vegetables, also known as cabbage, root head vegetables, wild duck side flowers, Huangzhou white head, dragon's tooth grass, azure white, small hair medicine, tiger's claw vegetables, toad grass, old crow plume and so on. It is a whole grass with roots or strips of the Rosaceae plant. Harvested from April to October of each year. Remove the flowers and fruit branches and drie the whole grass with roots. It is also possible to remove all the stems and leaves from the ground and use only their roots.
The medicinal part of the herb is dry root or whole grass with roots, the root is cylindrical, occasionally curved, different in length, reddish brown or dark brown on the outside, its leaves are small, mostly folded inward, the edges are rolled outwards, and the wool on the back is dense and long. 【Dosage】Internal: decoction, 0.5-1 two; Grind or dip. External use: decoction and washing, mashing or powder sprinkling.
【Use precautions】 Chronic diarrhea with weak body should be used with caution.
【Clinical Application】
1. Treatment of bleeding diseases: take 2-4 pairs of fresh Weiling vegetable whole grass (dry product 0.5-1 two) chopped, fried in water 2 times, mixed with two decoctions, add a small amount of brown sugar and fry for a while, 2 times divided, one dose per day, if necessary, you can continue to take 1-2 doses.
2. Treatment of acute bacterial dysentery: take the dried root of Weiling vegetables to make a 20% solution, 60 ml each time, orally twice a day. Or make a 20% injection solution for intramuscular injection, the first 2 ml, and then gradually increase to 3.5 ml, 1-2 times a day. Whether taken orally or injected, 60 ml of 20% solution is used simultaneously, preserved enemas, 1-2 times a day. Medication varies from 2-10 days.
3. For the treatment of amoebic dysentery, the rhizome of the ferula is made into a decoction or a stream extract. The daily amount for adults is 20-30 grams (calculated as a raw drug). Dispense 3 times. A small number of patients and with 10% decoction 100 ml row to retain the enema. 7-10 days is a course of treatment, if necessary, rest for 1 or 2 days before proceeding to the second course.
【Experience】
1. Cure dysentery: Five dollars for the root of the vegetable. Serve with fried water, three or four times a day, two or three days.

3. Cure abdominal pain of red diarrhea: five points of fine minced vegetables. Swallow with boiled water and take before meals.
4. Cure rheumatic numbness paralysis, long-term pain in the muscles and bones: Weiling vegetables, gale vines, spiced blood vines, rabbit ear wind each half a catty, soaked wine continuously, take one or two every morning and evening.
5. Cure wind paralysis: Weiling vegetables (fresh) a pound. Two pounds of soaked wine, one or two times each time. The second dosage is the same. Plus He Shou Wu one or two.
6. Cure the beginning of boils: one or two roots of Weiling vegetables. Serve with decoction.
7. Knife wound hemostasis muscle: Weiling vegetable leaf (dried) research end external; Or fresh roots mashed for external compresses.
8. Treatment of epilepsy: Weiling vegetable root (to the heart) one or two, alum three dollars. Add wine to soak, warm internal service, continuous hair and serve, after serving and then take alum powder for a dollar.
