Changchun City successfully introduced the ground cover plant Trifolium Weiling

After extensive research and experimentation, Changchun Landscape Planning and Research Institute successfully introduced and planted trilobite.

Trilobites are perennial herbaceous plants of the Rosaceae family, with upright or creeping stems, yellow flowers, warm and humid climate, well-developed roots, and low soil requirements. At the same time, the trifolium is also extremely stress-resistant, disease-free, low maintenance cost, easy to reproduce, and the creeping ability is strong, the internodal landing can take root, grow rapidly, 45 days to 50 days can be completely closed into a flat, is an excellent ground cover plant.

Changchun Municipal Landscape Planning and Research Institute since May 2019 began to introduce the three-leaf Weiling vegetable, after 3 years of planting observation, the annual viewing period of the three-leaf Weiling vegetable can reach 200 days, the flowering period is more than a month, the flowers are dense, and the landscape effect is good. In terms of practical application, Changchun City has planted trilobite in Friendship Park in early 2020, and after nearly 2 growing seasons, the current traits are performing well.

In the next step, Changchun Landscape Planning and Research Institute will continue to promote the trilobite of Lingling vegetables, and actively study more excellent ground cover plants suitable for the climate environment of Changchun City, so as to contribute to enriching the types of landscaping plants available in Changchun City.
