Recently, Yang Rui, former host of CCTV China International Television's (CGTN) news interview column "Dialogue with Yang Rui", joined the Globalization Think Tank (CCG) as a specially invited senior researcher. Yang Rui was a producer and editorial board member of CCTV English Channel, one of the founders of CCTV English Channel, the host and producer of the special program Global Debate, and the host of CCTV's four large-scale Chinese interview programs in 2010, "Journey of Civilization". He is the first and currently one of the few domestic prime-time hosts of a high-end news interview personal brand column in the history of CCTV and Chinese journalism for 20 years.
