For the proletariat of the whole world, there is one name that will not be forgotten: Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov. It is a bit awkward to call it this way, but it is more cordial to call it Comrade Lenin directly.
Comrade Lenin's influence on the proletariat was not only far-reaching, but also of great significance in spiritual guidance, and it was precisely because of this that even after his death, he could not be buried like ordinary people, but was put into a crystal coffin for posterity to admire.
Comrade Lenin's physical health deteriorated in 1922, and in April of that year he underwent surgery to remove a bullet from his neck. At this time, there was still a bullet in his neck that had not been removed, but before he could operate, he was partially paralyzed and unable to speak.
Comrade Lenin formally withdrew from political work and concentrated on treatment for more than a year, but his body was completely incurable, and he died on January 21, 1924. The life of a generation of great men ended in this way, but the turmoil about his body had just begun.
At that time, Comrade Lenin's wife wanted to bury him behind his mother. But such a small wish was also denied, because he was a great man, and the supreme leadership of the Soviet Union believed that his body should be preserved intact for future generations to see. As a result, although Moscow's Red Square was still in the cold of minus thirty degrees, it was forcibly blasted out of a large pit and began to build a Lenin Mausoleum. Lenin's Mausoleum opened on August 1 of the same year, when a celebration was held.
Unfortunately, the body did not last long before the great purge within the political situation ushered in, when a large part of the scientists involved in the protection of Lenin's body were executed, which affected the preservation of Lenin's body.
Subsequently, with the outbreak of World War II, the Soviet Union was in a state of collapse, and in the process of retreat, Lenin's body was again destroyed. In the course of the hasty handling, one of Comrade Lenin's legs decayed and he had to be amputated. Then, the rest of the body also began to decay little by little, and could only be replaced by fake substances continuously. By the end of World War II, only the head of Comrade Lenin's remains were intact.
In fact, preserving the remains is a relatively tedious matter.
Although the Soviet Union used the best scientists to dispose of the remains at that time, the environmental temperature of the body was strictly controlled at 16 degrees, the humidity was 70%, and the body had to be embalmed once a year and a half, that is, it was soaked in a potion for two weeks. But between the immaturity of the biological sciences at that time and the instability of the conditions for preservation, the remains of Comrade Lenin were always in the process of slow decay.
Later, with the problem out of control, scientists can only give up the maintenance of the real body.
After the end of World War II, the Soviet Union used more than 200 scientists to restore the body of Comrade Lenin, but with little success. Especially with the collapse of the Soviet Union, this work became impossible to advance. Eventually, the subcutaneous fat was replaced by chemicals such as stone wax and glycerin, and the eyelashes and eyeballs became fake.
To this day, comrade Lenin's body is only the original part of the head, and does not include the eyeballs, eyelashes and other parts.
It is said that the nose can also be seen if it is carefully observed. It can be seen that the current situation of preserving the remains of Comrade Lenin is not optimistic. Fortunately, many people now believe that the dead should be buried and that lenin's spirit will always exist, but there is no need to keep his body so expensively.
If in my personal opinion, I still feel that it is better to save the body so vigorously than to let the deceased truly rest in peace.
A generation of great people are also people, and their ideas have been dedicated to the country and the cause before they died, but the flesh should no longer be occupied by the public, and the great people have a truly independent space, so that they can enjoy the peace of the world with their families. Hopefully, in the near future, Comrade Lenin will be truly buried.
