Wu Zetian entered the imperial palace at the age of 14, was recruited by Li Shimin as a talented person, during which he did not have children for Li Shimin, and when Wu Zetian was 26 years old, Li Shimin died, according to the court system at that time, Wu Zetian had no heirs and needed to become a monk, so Wu Zetian was sent to the Ganye Temple.
The 26-year-old Wu Zetian washed his face with tears all day at the Ganye Temple, but Wu Zetian was also an ambitious person, he was still young, and his life could never be wasted like this. The 26-year-old Wu Zetian thought in his mind, and immediately thought of Li Zhi, who must rely on Li Zhi to return to the palace.
Wu Zetian had already reconciled with Li Ji before Li Shimin died, and it had to be said that Wu Zetian's eyes were pearls. Finding someone who could help her return to the palace, Wu Zetian began his own life layout.
The thoughts of Ganye Temple were the most frustrated four years of Wu Zetian's life, and Wu Zetian wrote the famous poem "Ruyi Niang" in Ganye Temple, watching Zhu Chengbisi, haggard and fragmented as a memory. It was also through this poem that Li Zhi thought that there was also an old lover of hers at Ganye Temple, and Wu Zetian's complaint eventually made Tang Gaozong Li Zhi fall under her pomegranate skirt. Later, Emperor Gaozong of Tang took Wu Zetian back to the imperial palace and worshipped him as Zhaoyi.
Wu Zetian's politics were opening step by step, returning to the palace at the age of 30, killing Concubine Xiao shufei and Empress Wang in the next two years, and becoming empress at the age of 32. The 40-year-old and Emperor Gaozong of Tang were called ersheng, 50 years old was called tianhou, 60 years old was called empress dowager, 67 years old became emperor, and died at the age of 82.
Carefully take stock of Wu Zetian's life, her success and her family environment are inseparable. Wu Zetian's father was named Wu Shi Yan (武士彟), and at first the samurai made a fortune selling timber, because at that time the Sui Emperor needed a lot of wood to build the Grand Canal. After earning money, but the status is not high, the Tang Dynasty pays attention to scholars, farmers, industrialists, and merchants, and the status of merchants is the lowest. So later, samurai went to join the army, because he had money, so he didn't have to start with soldiers. Later, he became acquainted with Li Yuan, the emperor of Tang Gaozu, and assisted Li Yuan in establishing the Tang Dynasty.
Wu Zetian's mother was Lady Rongguo, surnamed Yang, a member of the Sui Dynasty royal family, who grew up in the imperial palace, and later married Wu Shiyan and bore her three daughters.
Wu Zetian's brave and spicy personality in her early years is related to her family background. Wu Zetian conquered two emperors successively through his charm and changed his fate through a poem.
Later, when she became emperor, she vigorously promoted the Shu clan and built canals, and Wu Zetian also opened a glorious history of the Tang Dynasty.
