Huang Guiqiu (May 7, 1906 – September 11, 1978) was a Peking Opera performing artist, a famous Peking Opera Danjiao, famous Dequan, Ziyinqing, self-proclaimed Guiyin Xuan, Anhui Anqing, born in Beijing, founder of danjiao Huangpai. With "Begu Matsuri River", he won the title of "Jiangnan First Dan". Huang's voice is sweet, emphasizing Huguang rhyme on the basis of "Chen Cavity", and paying attention to skills in the pronunciation of words. Soon, with a unique artistic style, it became famous in Jiangnan and was known as the "Yellow School". The main repertoire performed by Huang Guiqiu includes "Uprising and Interpretation", "New Spring and Autumn Matching", "Beigong Sacrifice River", "Liang Hongyu", "Qiu Xiang Three Laughs", "Unjust Bird Hate", "Empress Jiang", "Whipping Reed", "Butterfly Medium" and so on.
