The Zhejiang provincial government will hold a high-standard ceremony to sacrifice the Yellow Emperor of Xuanyuan, the only county in the country named after the Yellow Emperor of Xuanyuan, the Ancestral Hall of the Xiandu Yellow Emperor in Jinyun County.

Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province, is an important place to inherit the Chinese context, as well as the "Yellow Emperor Sacrifice Center in Southern China", the "Yellow Emperor Cultural Radiation Center in Southern China" and the "Yellow Emperor Cultural Research Center in Southern China". The Jinyun Xiandu sacrifice of the Yellow Emperor of Xuanyuan began in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, with a history of more than 1,600 years, and has been included in the representative list of national intangible cultural heritage.
According to the organizers, on July 20, 2021, after the approval of the National Clean-up and Standardization Celebration Seminar Forum Activity Leading Group, it was agreed that the organizer of the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor Ceremony was changed from the Lishui Municipal People's Government and the Jinyun County People's Government to the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, which will be held once a year.
At this point, the project has become the only festival in Zhejiang hosted by the provincial government. Zhejiang Jinyun, Together with Huangling in Shaanxi and Xinzheng in Henan, jinyun has truly formed a national Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor sacrifice pattern of "three places and common sacrifice" and equal levels.
With the theme of "Carrying Forward the Yellow Emperor Culture and Condensing the National Spirit" and the theme of "Worshiping the Ancestors of the People from All Over the World and The Qihua Chapter of Common Prosperity", the ceremony explains and excavates the rich era values and profound spiritual connotations of the Yellow Emperor's culture, enhances the national identity and cultural identity of the descendants of Yanhuang, continues to build a common spiritual home of the Chinese nation, and gathers great strength for the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Those present at the ceremony included responsible persons of the central and relevant ministries and commissions of the state, representatives of the five corresponding provinces (autonomous regions and cities) in Zhejiang Province, representatives of friendly counties (cities and districts), responsible persons of the party and government departments directly under Zhejiang Province, Lishui City, and Jinyun County, representatives of advanced models in various fields such as national labor models and national moral models, representatives of Taiwan compatriots, overseas Chinese and returned students, representatives of experts and scholars, and representatives of all sectors of society and the masses.
It is understood that there are 9 rituals in total, including trombone sounding the sky, beating drums and striking bells, paying homage to high incense, offering flower baskets, offering fine wine, reading sacrifice texts, bowing, singing hymns, and music and dance offerings.
This event will take a combination of live sacrifice and network sacrifice. In terms of online sacrifice activities, it mainly relies on the online sacrifice platform to invite the sons and daughters of The World's Chinese to participate in interactive activities such as flower offering and blessing on the Internet.
It is reported that the jinyun xiandu sacrifice of the Yellow Emperor began in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and lasted for more than 1600 years, reflecting the 5,000 years of civilization in China. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, jinyun mountain dinghu peak has been built under the "jinyun hall", is a place of worship for the Yellow Emperor of Xuanyuan. In the first year of the Tang Dynasty, Wu Zetian sealed the Chan Song Mountain, and set up a new county where Jinyun Mountain was located, and the name of the county was named After the Yellow Emperor - Jinyun.
In the seventh year of Tang Tianbao, Tang Xuanzong Li Longji sealed "Jinyun Mountain" as "Xiandu Mountain" and changed "Jinyun Hall" to "Yellow Emperor Ancestral Hall", and since then, local officials have held annual activities to sacrifice the Yellow Emperor of Xuanyuan.

In 1998, the Jinyun County Party Committee and County Government rebuilt the Yellow Emperor Ancestral Hall in the style of the Tang Dynasty and resumed the activities of worshiping the Yellow Emperor of Xuanyuan.
It is understood that the Chinese Xiandu Sacrifice Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor Ceremony has attracted more and more attention from the sons and daughters of China at home and abroad, and every year a large number of Taiwan compatriots, overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese spontaneously come to participate in the Xiandu Yellow Emperor Festival, and the number and scale of participation are expanding year by year.
In 2015, the Yellow Emperor Ancestral Hall was awarded the "China Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Base" by the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; in 2021, Jinyun Xian was awarded the "Cross-Strait Exchange Base" by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the CPC Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.
