The Great Ceremony of the Yellow Emperor of The Chinese Xiandu Sacrifice in the Year of Xinu was hosted by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and hosted by the People's Government of Lishui City and the People's Government of Jinyun County, with the theme of "Worshiping the Ancestors of the Four Seas with One Heart, Joint prosperity and Qihua Chapter". The name of the mountain is related to the name of the Yellow Emperor "Jinyun Clan", and the Dinghu Peak in the mountains is also said to be the place where the Yellow Emperor refines Dan. The local Yellow Emperor sacrifice was documented in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Emperor Xuanzong of Tang ordered the construction of the Yellow Emperor's ancestral hall in Jinyun and called Jinyun Mountain the "Immortal Capital". The emperor of the Song Dynasty also sent ministers to sacrifice the Yellow Emperor several times.
In 1998, Jinyun County rebuilt the Yellow Emperor Ancestral Hall and resumed the Yellow Emperor's sacrifice activities. In 2011, the "Yellow Emperor Festival", "Jinyun Xuanyuan Festival)" was included in the national intangible cultural heritage.
