In order to deepen the "friendship" with the Japanese, Chen Xingcun even braved the world to spend a huge amount of money in his personal name to purchase two fighters and donate them to the Japanese army invading China, and these two fighters were named "Xingcun No. 1" and "Xingcun No. 2" by the Japanese side respectively. Chen Xingcun and Ri Kou were in a state of adultery, which was obvious to the world, but she did not think anything of it, and continued to do traitorous activities.

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Chen Xingcun, as a traitor, was arrested by the Nationalist government. After running around, Chen Xingcun was first granted parole and returned home, and then acquitted, and a generation of traitors escaped due punishment under the corruption of the Kuomintang authorities. Chen Xingcun, who made a huge fortune by relying on his traitorous behavior, began to be active in Taiwan's political circles, and from business to politics, Chen Xingcun once became a prominent figure.
