According to fox news reported on November 3 local time, the incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on October 31, the 37-year-old father was at home with his 8-year-old son, according to the police, when a man and a woman wearing Halloween costumes knocked on the door and said "trick-or-treat without sugar."

However, according to surveillance video, a pair of adults wearing skull masks and Halloween costumes knocked on the door, carrying sparkling handbags. When the father opened the door to give the two men candy, one of the male suspects suddenly pulled out a pistol and tried to break into the house. Police said that at this time, a female suspect quickly went downstairs, opened the door to escape, and the third suspect took the opportunity to run up the stairs, broke into the house with the previous male suspect, and repeatedly punched his father in the face. But eventually the father managed to repel the two, pushing them out the door and locking it.

Police are continuing to search for the three people involved. The local government said the suspects were two dark-skinned men and one light-skinned woman.
