Tower Hill Castle Site. The site of this city is high on the top of the mountain and bordered by the Beisha River in the south, and the situation is quite dangerous. The walls around the mountain castle are built with soil along the ridge, with a circumference of about 1,000 meters, low in the east and high in the west, in the shape of a dustpan. There is a city gate in the southeast of the city, which is now an opening and an outlet for the leakage of water from the city. After more than 1,000 years, the remains of the earthen castle wall still exist, and the best-preserved section is the southeast corner, with a remaining height of 1 meter and a foundation width of about 3 meters, from the bottom of the mountain castle to the highest part of the city about 50 meters. Reddish-brown and grey jomons, cloth bricks and lotus tiles can be seen everywhere on the site, which are typical Goguryeo relics.

There was originally a hexagonal seven-story brick tower on the top of the hill behind the city site, which had been destroyed in the early years, so it had the name of Tower Mountain.

According to historical and archaeological surveys, Tashan Mountain Castle was the city of Gaimu when Goguryeo occupied Liaodong.
