Origin of place names. Taomutun Village belongs to Chen Xiang Subdistrict, Sujiatun District. The village was founded during the reign of Qing Shunzhi, and was named after the peach trees near the village when it was founded.

Location overview. To the west of Taomutun Village is the Shendan Railway, and across the railway is Shahe Village. The village is bordered to the south by Shangtouzi Village, yaogou and Sugou to the northeast, and Ligou, Zhanggou and Battlefieldgou to the east. The north of the village is adjacent to Nie Sanjiazi Village. The tributaries of the Beisha River flow through the south of the village.
History. Taomutun (Taomutun) was established on September 20, 1958, under the administration of Chen Xiangtun Commune. In 1983, it was subordinated to Chen Xiangtun Township. In 1985, it was subordinated to Chen Xiangtun Town. In 2010, it belonged to Chen Xiang Subdistrict.
Schooling. Momotun Elementary School, founded in 1908. In October 1985, there were 10 classes, 294 students, and 13 faculty members.
Monumental ruins. According to the 2014 "Compilation of Shenyang Cultural Relics Census Directory", there are 3 ancient sites near Taomutun Village:
Taomutun Liaojin Ruins; Taomutun Ma Dalan Liaojin Ruins; Taomutun Ming Dynasty Beacon Tower Ruins. The exact location is unclear.

There is also an old-fashioned traditional Northeast three-bay house with a large family. There is also a Heaven and Earth Shrine.

There is also a former site similar to youth point in 1977. According to the memories of the village's knowledgeable youth, the youth point of that year was a two-story building, and at present only the daughter wall can be seen. I don't know what building it was.
