Beijing Zhengze School is positioned by the Xicheng District Government as a basic education reform project of "government support, state-owned enterprise operation, and educator-run school", and the school is invested by Beijing Financial Street Education Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Financial Street Group (a state-owned enterprise in Xicheng District).
In Beijing's Xicheng District, where there are many well-known public schools, Zhengze was born as a private school, which Li Lie called a background for changes in the "education supply-side structure". She believes that after the reform and opening up, all localities need to concentrate on running a number of window schools as a model, but when the social and economic development reaches a certain stage, while the government pays more attention to the balanced development of compulsory education, the people have a more diversified personalized choice needs. Li Lie said that there is a saying that part of the rise of Beijing's financial street is due to education in Xicheng District. However, in 2014, in the deepening reform of basic education, Beijing adjusted the enrollment policy and abolished co-construction ("co-construction" refers to the establishment of a "co-construction" relationship between government agencies and enterprises and institutions with well-known schools in order to meet the enrollment of employees' children, and the children of co-construction units can directly enroll in these schools), and instead implement 100% nearby enrollment, and the children of talents in the financial street are no exception.
