In the forest grassland at the foot of the mountain, there are often snow leopards, wild donkeys, white-lipped deer, rock sheep, white-lipped deer, black bears and other wild animals; wild ducks and spotted gulls play in the sea; in addition to vultures in the sky, the most naturally appears in the sky.
This year, a pair of giant eagles flew in here and began to build nests and give birth to babies. The great eagle, also known as the egret leopard, is a large bird of prey, a natural enemy of the pika.
On the cliff, the pair built a large nest and gave birth to three babies. As the young grow up, the mother eagle has to catch 5 pika rabbits a day to feed 3 young birds. However, due to the herders' rat extermination action, there are fewer and fewer pikas on the grassland. Catching 3 pikas a day is good, and only when you have good luck can you catch 5-6.
But unlike other birds of prey, their babies don't fight each other over food, on the contrary, they are polite. As soon as a baby eats food, it sits quietly and gives it to its siblings who haven't eaten yet.
On this day, the mother of the egret and leopard had been out for most of the day, and had not yet returned from predation, and the 3 babies were hungry and walking around in the nest. They all looked in the direction of their mothers, hoping to see their mother's shadow. However, in the sky ahead, only a few vultures flew around.
The second and third elders starved to death, simply lay down to sleep, but the eldest may be hungry and dizzy, and even opened a large mouth, as if waiting for his mother to feed. A few drops of water fell into its mouth at the top of the rock, frightening it into hurrying to close its mouth, but its stomach was really hungry.
Yesterday the mother of the big eagle only caught 3 pikas, it ate one by itself, the remaining two let the second and third eat, the boss let the younger brothers and sisters eat first, which knows that the last mother finally returned empty-handed, it can only be hungry on an empty stomach, who calls it the boss!
The mother of the big bird finally flew back, still holding the prey in her mouth, the babies were very happy, and before the mother could stand, they rushed to the mother's side. Seeing that there was only 1 prey, the second and third elders walked to the side with interest and gave up the prey to the boss.
The boss did not shirk, stepped forward, grabbed the prey in one bite, and was about to swallow it, but he spit out the prey again, and the prey fell to the ground, which turned out to be a mouse. Seeing that the boss did not eat, the second brother went forward to prepare to eat a bite, but the second brother gave up after taking a look.
The third elder did not know how to feel strong, thinking in his heart, why doesn't everyone like to eat? Since none of you eat it, I have to do it! It walked from behind to its prey, didn't even look at it, and ate it with its mouth open. Hey! Not a pika, but a nasty mouse!
Yuck! The third elder hurriedly spit out the mouse, and shouted in his mouth: Mother is also true, catch a mouse and come back to us to eat, knowing that we don't like to eat this nasty mouse meat.
The second brother chimed in: Even if I starve to death, I will not eat this guy. Compared to the delicious pika, it is as disgusting as it is!
The mother eagle had to eat the rat herself, stayed in the nest for a while, and flew away in a hurry. This time it was still lucky, a mouse rabbit just came out of the hole, the mother of the big eagle quickly swooped down, stretched out its sharp claws and grabbed the mouse rabbit, the whole action was completed in one go, very perfect. It first opened its mouth, bit the head of the mouse rabbit, and then swallowed it into its stomach, and when it swallowed a third, it stopped, breathed a sigh of relief, and continued to swallow into its stomach. The mother of the big eagle watched from the side, afraid of choking her baby.
