There are many ancient poems related to acacia that have been handed down, and the Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Chao wrote a poem "Jiangnan Xing", which shows the feelings of a merchant "staying behind" his wife delicately and touchingly, no less than the great poet Bai Juyi wrote in "Pipa Xing": "Merchants value profits and light separations."

There are not many poems handed down by Zhang Current, about ten or so. Except for the poem "Picking Lotus Words" which is written about the lotus woman, the rest are all about the thoughts and emotions of the merchant woman. According to this, many experts believe that Zhang Chao's poems are widely influenced by southern folk songs in terms of content and form.
"CiFu leaves rot in the West Bay, lotus flowers are still blooming", Ci Pu, also known as "Cigu", a perennial herb, born in paddy fields, leaves like arrows, white flowers, there are bulbs underground, can be eaten. West Bay, one says the place name, the other says the riverside place. Lotus blossoms, that is, lotus blossoms. Also, yin huán, come back.
As can be seen from the beginning, the poet was greatly influenced by folk songs. Here, the poet uses seasonal plants, "Cifu" and "Lotus", to make time very vivid, no longer boring numbers. When the leaves are rotten, it is the end of autumn, and the lotus blossoms are in summer. The span of time is exactly one year.
In the poem, the protagonist is a woman who misses her husband, and her difference from her husband should be in the autumn of the previous year; and the two sides must have made an agreement, but the husband broke the contract and did not return by the summer of the following year. Perhaps, the location of the difference is fictional, but the truth is extremely deep.
In addition, there is one thing that needs special attention, that is, the "lotus blossom" in the second sentence. "Lotus" is often used to harmonize with "pity" to express the implication in love, that is, the feeling of missing the other party. The woman's longing is like a blossoming flower, and the contrast with the husband's behavior of "not returning" is particularly precious, with a little desolation.
"Concubine dreams do not leave the river, and people pass on langs on the Phoenix Mountain", concubine, the humble name of ancient women. On the water, a "upper water". People pass it on, people hear it. Phoenix Mountain, the name of the place, since it is said to be a rumor, it is natural that it does not have to be used as a real finger here.
The husband did not abide by the agreement and released his wife's "pigeon" out of thin air, but the wife still looked through the autumn water, never forgot, and even watched the route of her husband's return in her dreams. However, it is bound to be more disappointment than hope. Because according to the information sent back by everyone, the husband somehow ran to the Phoenix Mountain.
"Concubine dreams" and "biography" become a very obvious contrast, the former is full of affection, shaping the image of a wife who is looking forward to the return of her husband, while the latter presents the husband's uncertain and ambiguous appearance. In contrast, we are both moved by the loneliness and unspeakable lamentations of our wives, and we also contain a hint of doubt, constantly asking about the loyalty of our husbands.
This poem inherits the folk song tradition, stands in the perspective of a woman, describes her inner world with its mournful tone, and because of its simple language, the rhythm is more clear and natural. Between the dream and reality, the poet deliberately creates a huge gap, thereby deepening the thickness of the woman's self-emotion, becoming more delicate and realistic, and becoming more and more endless and intriguing.
