Shi Yigong's grandfather, Shi Ping, was born in Dayao County, Yunnan Province, graduated from the College of Agriculture of Zhejiang University, and was influenced by revolutionary ideas from an early age. Grandma Yang Lin, the main leader of the hangzhou student revolutionary activities, was arrested and imprisoned by the Kuomintang government because of her special status as a communist.
Eighteen days after giving birth to Shi Yigong's father, she died in a Kuomintang prison. In order to remember Grandma Yang Lin, Grandpa named the child Shi Huailin.
After the death of his grandmother Yang Lin, His grandfather Shi Ping threw himself into the revolution and joined our party organization to participate in the War of Resistance, because he had no time to take care of the young Shi Huailin, he took him to the home of relatives and friends. It was not until the founding of New China that Grandpa inquired about his son's news everywhere, and only then did he find Shi Huailin in his hometown of Henan and bring him back to Beijing to stay with him.
Shi Huailin had two daughters and two sons, and when his wife gave birth to her youngest son, she just in time for the turbulent period, and after several twists and turns, she found a hospital and gave birth to a child smoothly.
And most of the names of the newborn babies in that period have the color of the times, and Shi Huailin feels that it is too old-fashioned, so he named his younger son "Shi Yigong", hoping that he will be dedicated to the public.

In Shi Yigong's memory, the most conspicuous place in each home will be placed in a delicate photo frame, which is a photo of Grandma Yang Lin when she went to college, and a black-and-white photo with a smile has become Shi Huailin's sustenance for missing her mother.
Perhaps in Shi Huailin's heart, he thought that he might not be able to return to the provincial capital of Zhengzhou in the future, and could only stay in this small place for a lifetime. Shi Huailin, who lived in Xiaoguozhuang, had to start learning to do farm work, working at sunrise and resting at sunset every day. Carrying a basket on his back and a shovel in his hand, he picked up cow dung from the side of the road to fertilize his crops.
When I first came to Xiaoguozhuang, the conditions in the village were backward and there was no electricity, and the villagers were reluctant to use candles or kerosene lamps in order to save money, and at night the whole village was dark, and occasionally only a few dog barks were heard.
In 1969, with the consent of the village chief, my father and a few young and strong boys carried wires and trunks to pull up electricity. Since then, Xiaoguozhuang has been brightly lit and has become the first advanced village in the vicinity of several small villages to be electrified.
Shi Yigong once recalled: his father Shi Huailin was very studious and smart, and soon mastered the method of planting farmland, and also learned from others to punch boats, go to the sea to cast nets to catch fish, and after each heavy rain, his father would take his eldest sister and second sister to the field to catch water frogs.

In shi yigong's eyes, Shi Huailin was an omnipotent father, in order to make the family live more comfortably, Shi Huailin found sorghum poles, cement and lime, and decorated the cowshed into a small house with a similar appearance, and also divided into several small rooms.
My father also built several pieces of practical furniture himself, some of which are still in use today. Shi Huailin is also a hairdresser, and Shi Yigong said in an interview: In the 18 years before he went to college, he did not go to the barbershop, and his brothers, sisters and mother's hair were taken care of by his father. Father never refused to treat those who came. When her father, Shi Huailin, moved from Zhengzhou to Xiaoguozhuang, she carried a Shanghai brand sewing car, which was the most precious one in it. In 1970, Shi Huailin went to Xiaoguozhuang's only high school as a mathematics and physics teacher, and was deeply liked by the students because of her interesting and vivid lecture style.
In 1977, when China restored the college entrance examination system, Shi Huailin tutored her children's courses and helped them revise, and eventually several children were admitted to college.
In 1984, Shi Yigong participated in the National Mathematics Competition for High School Students, won the first place, and was escorted to Tsinghua University.
In 1972, due to the needs of his father Shi Weilin's work, the family moved to the town where his father worked.
On the day of leaving, most of the villagers went to say goodbye, reluctant to let their family leave, so the mother went to the supermarket to buy some candy for the children to eat. The original peaceful and happy life was broken by a catastrophe.
In 1987, Schweilin was hit on the sidewalk by a tired driver of a car.

In 1989, Shi Yigong studied abroad and studied in the United States for more than ten years. When he was promoted to an official, Shi Yigong gave up his American citizenship and returned to Teach at Tsinghua University, cultivating a batch of successors with ideals and daring to take responsibility for the country. In 2009, Shi Yigong returned to Xiaoguozhuang with his wife and children, mother and sister, and once those neighbors welcomed them very warmly, holding the family's hand for a long time and reluctant to let go, and invited them to stay for a few days.
