As a representative figure of this period, there is the saying of "Three Cao Seven Sons", the former refers to the father and son of the Cao family, and the latter refers to the so-called "Seven Sons of Jian'an", but to be honest, the Three Caos are very familiar to everyone, but among the seven sons, in addition to Kong Rong,There is a story of letting pears, who else is afraid that few people can say, at most, it is just a noun fill-in-the-blank question during the exam.
To say who among the seven sons has the highest literary achievements, it must be Wang Yue, such as Liu Xun said in "Wenxin Carved Dragon": "Zhongxuan is overflowing with talent, quick and can be secret, wen is more and more good, words are less flawed, and if you pick up his poetic endowment, then the crown of the seven sons is crowned." ”
Wang Yue (王粲), courtesy name Zhongxuan, was a native of Gaoping, Shanyang, in present-day Jining, Shandong, who was attached to Liu Biao in the early days, but was not reused; Cao Cao transferred to Cao Men during his southern conquest of Jingzhou and was given the title of Marquis of Guannei; when the Kingdom of Wei was established, he served as a servant, and later accompanied Cao Cao on his southern expedition to Sun Quan, and died of illness on the way to the north, at the age of 41.
It can be seen from the introduction that Wang Cang was a person who was enfeoffed, at least among this large group of literati in the Three Kingdoms era, it can be said that he was unique and also the person with the highest political status.
Wang Cang is said to be in Chen Shou's "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", a total of 550 words, very simple, there are few records of his early life trajectory, probably talented, proficient in mathematics, chess, familiar with the etiquette of the previous dynasty, and later under Cao Cao, he often participated in the imperial court and the formulation of the system.
This brilliance is a must for all well-known literati, except for special cases such as Zeng Guofan; but in the biography, it is specially recorded that he has two things that he has learned and remembered, one is that Wang Yue and his friends are traveling, and when they see an ancient stele next to the road, they stand there and read it. A friend asked him, "Can you recite it?" The answer was "yes"; he immediately recited the inscription on his back, and the result was word for word.

In fact, it is not appropriate to say that Wang Cang should not be reused in Liu Biao, although we do not know that he has any official position in Jingzhou, but he has the right to speak in the court, and he has written several weighty articles for him under Liu Biao, briefly describing his views on current politics, such as "Three Auxiliary Theories", "Jingzhou Literary Officials" and so on.
The Treatise on the Three Auxiliaries is a crusade written by Liu Biao to quell the rebellion of his subordinates, in order to show that the teacher is famous; and after Yuan Shao's death, his son was in civil strife, and Liu Biao, in order to persuade Him, asked Wang Cang to write "For Liu Jingzhou to Advise Yuan Tanshu" and "For Liu Jingzhou and Yuan Shangshu", in which he persuaded the Yuan brothers not to fight against the wall.
In these articles, Wang Cang advocated "first get rid of Cao Cao, and the hatred of the emperor first", and called for joining forces with the Yuan brothers to eliminate Cao Cao, of course, these were limited to the situation at that time, and Cao Cao laughed at these articles, as he did chen Lin, who had scolded his ancestors for eight generations.
Therefore, Liu Biao did not not reuse him, but only regarded him as a literati, naturally he would not regard Wang Cang as a confidant; besides, even if Liu Biao did not reuse him when he was in power, and after Liu Qun succeeded to the throne, he should be a figure at the core level, otherwise, how could he persuade Liu Qun to surrender to Cao Cao?
And Cao Cao also credited this credit to his head, not only was he awarded the title of Marquis of Guannei, from these two official positions we can know how Cao Cao valued him, and Cao Xianghuan belonged to Cao Cao's private office system; and this knighthood was given to him, that is, there is food, and it is to be passed on to his descendants, General Fei has worked hard all his life and has not been crowned marquis, and finally fell into a "Li Guang difficult seal".
However, based on these alone, it is believed that Cao Cao reused Wang Yue, which was blinded by these appearances, and Cao Cao gave him such a high courtesy, as a generation of tyrants, cao Cao was actually made for the people of the world to see, especially those who had the right to speak in the separatist forces.

Cao Cao only regarded it as a literary attendant, of course, it was impossible to be reused, plus Cao Cao himself was a literary scholar, and whether Wang Cang's literary talent could enter Cao Gong's eyes was two theories, so Cao Cao, who was born in a chaotic world, needed a strategist who could make good decisions, and needed a military general who could fight in battle, as for a literati like Wang Yue, it was very good to have a bite to eat.
Although Cao Cao did not use Wang Cang too much, his two precious sons appreciated Wang Cang very much, of course, from the perspective of the literati, Wang Cang had a very close relationship with Cao Pi and Cao Zhi, and had a deep friendship.
Cao Pi and Cao Zhi also had great respect for Wang Cang, and there were often poems between them, so there was a famous allusion to "donkey mourning death"; and Cao Zhi also wrote the sacrifice text of "Wang Zhongxuan" after Wang Yue's death, which shows that the friendship between Cao Pi and Cao Zhi and Wang Cang is indeed extraordinary.

The poetry and the meaning are harmoniously integrated, the meaning is subtle, the rhyme is harmonious and clear, and the emotions are sad and poignant; this poem is indeed a superior work that fully embodies the characteristics of "Jian'an Absolute Singing".
