Guizhou young poet Xu Yuan's poetry collection "Sunshine Chop" and prose poetry collection "Shang Shui" were published by Unity Publishing House.

Xu Yuan, born in Nayong County, Guizhou Province, is a member of the Chinese Writers Association and a student of the 39th Advanced Research Class for Young and Middle-Aged Writers of Lu Xun Literature College. He participated in the 27th "Youth Poetry Society" of the Poetry Journal. His poems have been scattered in "Poetry Journal", "Stars", "Yangtze River", "Poetry Monthly", "Mountain Flower", etc., and have been selected into a variety of annual anthologies, including the poetry collection "A Dream Of Years", "Ode", and the prose poetry collection "The Seventh Man in the Sunshine".

The poetry collection "Sunshine Chop" is divided into two chapters: the first part, "The Legend of Umeng Mountain" and the next part, "Personality Mask". In the previous part, "The Biography of Wumeng Mountain", most of Xu Yuan's poems show a strong regional color; in the next part, "Personality Mask", the lyrical content and style are more abundant, and they try to reflect the exploratory nature of poetry in many ways.

In the prose poetry collection "Shang Shui", the short version of the long prose poem of the same name "Shang Shui" included was published in the 6th issue of the Yangtze River Poetry Journal in 2018, and won the 4th Yangtze River Annual Young Prose Poet Award of the Yangtze River Poetry Journal.

The two books "Sunshine Chop" and "Shang Shui" published this time set the background color of the book cover as orange and purple. Xu Yuan said: "Orange symbolizes the temperature of the sun, and the yellow leaves under the title of the book are closely related to the image of sunlight, which represents a state of life; "Shang Shui" uses purple as the back cover, has a sense of mystery, and the artistic conception created by the long prose poem of the same name in this prose poem collection is tacitly in tacit understanding, and the fingerprint under the title is like a ripple of water, which refers to fate, and is more consistent with the main theme of many chapters in this prose poetry collection." ”

The publication of the poetry collection "Sunshine Chop" and the prose poetry collection "Shang Shui", Xu Yuan bluntly said that this is just a summary of his own staged writing, and there is no need to be too attached to what they can bring. "The poems are written, and they are there, forming your countless bright shadows, and sometimes, if you reflect on the past, you will see new steps and roads. I thought, I'm going to go again.
