At 17:47 on November 2, 2021, the Xinhua Street Fire Rescue Station in Tongzhou District, Beijing received a dispatch from the 119 command center: a child in the Riverside Lijing Community was stuck in the fitness equipment and could not move. Xinhua Street Fire Rescue Station immediately dispatched 1 rescue vehicle and 7 firefighters to the scene for disposal.
After arriving at the scene, the fire commander found that the scene was a 3-and-a-half-year-old boy who was physically stuck in the fitness equipment, and the child's mood was relatively stable. In order to prevent the demolition of fitness equipment from affecting children, firefighters first consider not using tools and try to slowly remove children from the fitness equipment. After 2 minutes, the firefighters worked hard to remove the child from the fitness equipment. After examination, the child's body is not in serious trouble.
Tongzhou fire tips: the design of public fitness equipment in the community is more in accordance with the size of adult use, children are small, and it is easy to be stuck, squeezed and other dangers when used. When using public fitness equipment in the community, parents should strengthen the care of children to prevent danger. If there is a danger, do not use a raw and hard way to get rid of the child, adjust the child to a more comfortable position, comfort the child, and promptly dial 119, 120 for help.
