When you think of the Sky Mirror, the first thing that comes to mind is definitely the Uyuni Salt Marsh in Bolivia and the Chaka Salt Lake in Qinghai. Did you know that Malaysia also has a sky mirror? One might say, I know, it's in Selangor, Malaysia. Yes, the Sky Mirror in Selangor has been in development for some time, and most people go to this one. But you may not know that Malaysia has discovered a new mirror of the sky, in Perak's Double VuLong!

The Sky Mirror of Selangor can only be seen for 8 days a month, and the Sky Mirror of Perak is the first and fifteenth day of the first lunar calendar, the first 6, 7 days and the last 6 and 7 days, that is, 24-28 days of the month.
It's an over three-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to ShuangWuLong, or you can take a car to Anshun and then transfer to Shuang WuLong.
Shuangwulong is a small fishing village in Perak, with a population of just over 300, all Chinese, and most of them Teochew. Each house has two characters on the lintel, which represent their surname, "Taiyuan" surname Wang, "Yingchuan" surname Chen...
China's development is too fast, sometimes going abroad feels more Chinese taste, many traditional cultures have gradually declined at home, but they have been passed down abroad.
The villagers here know each other, so the security is very good, and it is also friendly to foreign tourists, which is a very humane place.
Villagers have been fishing for generations, and the small fishing port is full of fishing boats.
When you don't have to go to sea, everyone's life is very leisurely. Sit down and have a coffee chat, or lie down in a hammock and play with your phone.
You can take a battery car to explore the fishing village, and the open space outside the salted fish processing plant is full of salted fish.
Monitor lizards are also often seen here, crawling out of the woods to steal fish to eat. I'm actually a little afraid of this kind of carrion-eating reptile, but they seem to be more afraid of people, and when they find someone approaching, they all scare them away.
Recently, more tourists have come to Shuangwulong because there are not only mirrors of the sky, but also blue tears. Blue Tears, referred to as sea fireflies, is a type of plankton living in the bay. There are luminous glands in the body of sea fireflies, and when stimulated by waves such as waves, light blue light is produced. It is distributed in a strip along the sandy beach and sparkles at night. The blue tears here can be seen all year round, but the number of daily changes will vary due to the tide, wind direction, water temperature, etc.
Come here to arrange 2 days and 1 night itinerary, during the day to visit the fishing village, watch the sky mirror, dig clams, at night to see blue tears, fireflies, sing koala ok. There are MYR 300/person trips in the area, including food, accommodation and small transportation, which is very cost-effective.
And don't miss the local cuisine, seafood platters and saury balls must be tried! The seafood platter is included in the 2-day, 1-night itinerary, but the specifications will vary. Seafood hot pot and breakfast and supper are also included.
This western knife fish ball should be fried, q bullet refreshing, there is rotten skin that kind of crispy skin is more delicious, must be dipped in chili sauce, but unfortunately can not be brought back to China ah.
Because it is a small fishing village, there is no hotel, only air-conditioned homestays, there are different room types, this is a 4-person room, which is also included in the itinerary.
Having said all that, it's time to take you to see the Mirror of the Sky. The Sky Mirror is actually a shoal in the sea, with sand exposing the sea at low tide.
The boat would drop us off at our destination and provide free photography. The staff would pile up a fan-shaped shoal out of sand, because the water was shallow and the scope was small, and even if there was wind, the fan-shaped water surface would still be as calm as a mirror. They would set up a temporary studio at the handle of the fan to block out the strong light, and the photographer would lie under the studio and shoot at a low angle with an Apple phone.
We are outside the fan-shaped area, according to the prompts to pose a variety of poses, of course, you can also play their own creativity, group photos, single photos, props, borrowing a variety of means emerge in an endless stream.
Shooting the mirror of the sky weather is very important, the weather is good to reflect beautifully, the blue sky and white clouds are the best, and the sunset should be good.
In fact, basically do not need to bring anything, valuables can be put on the boat, I brought a camera basically useless.
It is recommended to wear brightly colored clothes with shorts, and it will look better if everyone dresses uniformly. Also pay attention to sun protection, our tidal time that day was 13:30 and the ultraviolet rays were very strong.
In fact, this time we only stayed for half a day, the time is too short, many have not experienced. I think I should take my family and friends to go again, to feel this traditional Teochew fishing village, to take beautiful photos in the Sky Mirror, to admire the blue tears under the stars, and to taste the addictive food...
