Spy novels have never gone out of style, with their cocoons drawn, their words tentative, and their lines full of tension.
There are many writers who write spy novels, but john Le Carré is the only one who writes to the extreme.

John Le Carré, now 84 years old, has a rich life experience: at the age of 18, Le Carré was recruited by the British military intelligence service to spy on East Berlin; after retiring from the army, he studied modern languages at Oxford University, and later taught French and German at Eton College. He left Eaton in 1958 to become a freelance illustrator. In 1959, he joined the British Foreign Office, serving at the British embassies in Bonn and Hamburg, and began writing.
Having actually worked as a spy and received intensive training in espionage provided material for his future writing.
He has written countless works in his lifetime, and 11 of them have been adapted into films and television series.

The most famous of many works is his third spy novel, The Berlin Spy, which Le Carré became famous for, and the famous writer Green praised: "This is the best spy novel I have ever read!" ”
2015 edition of Spy Berlin
During the Cold War in the 1960s, British spy Alek Limas was stationed in West Berlin for many years to engage in espionage. However, after witnessing his colleagues lurking in East Germany being shot by the East German Border Guards, Alek returned to the headquarters of the British Secret Intelligence Service to accept the ultimate mission of confidentiality. In order to blend into East Germany, Alek deliberately exposed his weaknesses, even his depraved side, in order to break up the relationship between the leaders of the East German intelligence agencies and his subordinates, and to disintegrate his power. However, under the confusing mask of double-sided espionage, Alec gradually discovers that he is just an insignificant pawn, and the inner moral judgment and the increasingly blurred distinction between good and evil also torment Alek.
In 1965, two years after the novel came out, director Martin Ritter adapted Spy Berlin into a film.
When a story is expressed by two carriers, it is inevitable to explore who is better. When the tension between the words shifts to the grim picture, which one is more in line with the world under the Iron Curtain in your mind?
