Zeng Zi didn't have anything to say, but it was not good not to say, so he repeated the way of loyalty and forgiveness that Confucius usually talked about, saying: "It is loyalty and forgiveness, nothing else." ”

The way of the Master may be the loyalty and forgiveness that everyone listens to everyone on a daily basis, but what Zeng Zi understands in his heart is not the literal meaning of "loyalty and forgiveness". Otherwise, Confucius did not explicitly say, why did Zeng Zi receive the teachings at the moment and come out with the Tao? In connection with confucius's saying in the Book of Rites and The Middle Way, "loyalty and forgiveness are not far away", probably the way of the master is not necessarily "loyalty and forgiveness".
Hu Juren of the Ming Dynasty wrote "Yi Xiang Qian", saying: "My way is consistent" That one refers to dry. Why? Because Qiankun is the door of Yi, the sixty-two gua are all changed by Qiankun; and the Kun gua is changed by qian gua.
However, Confucius wrote "Zhou Yi Zhi Ci", saying that "easy to have tai chi is to give birth to two instruments". These two instruments are yin and yang, yin is kun gua, and yang is qiangua. Yin and yang come out, stand tall, open up the world, and stand side by side at the same time. For example, Lao Tzu said that existence and non-existence came out at the same time: "Yes, the beginning of the famous heavens and the earth; nothing, the mother of all things... The two are the same name and the same name, the same name is xuan. ”
Therefore, the Ming Dynasty Lai Zhide's "Zhou Yi Collection Notes" quotes the "Zhou Yi" as saying: "'The movement of the world, the zhenfu one is also.'" ’...... Chastity, Masaya. The sage's "I Ching" is beneficial to the right... The Taoist, the righteousness of the heavens and the earth, the sun and the moon, that is, Tai Chi; one, no desire. No desire is just fine. After Zeng Zi fell ill, he summoned the doorman and said, "Look at my feet!" Look at my hands! The poem says: 'Trembling is like approaching the abyss, like walking on thin ice.' From now on, my body will not be hurt! youngster! ”

This means that you don't dare to fight the tiger with your bare hands, and you don't dare to jump across the river with two feet. People usually only look at one side and cannot see the other side. So tremble like you are near an abyss, like stepping on thin ice.
Zeng Zi wrote the Book of Filial Piety, which begins by quoting Confucius:
"The skin of the body, the parents of the body, do not dare to destroy, the beginning of filial piety." Stand on the path of walking, make a name for yourself in the hereafter, show your parents, and end up filial piety. Husband filial piety begins with relatives, in the matter of the king, and finally stands up. Daya Yun: 'No Nian Erzu, Nie Xiu Shu De. "No thought is a thought, and the Chinese language is very strange." No-mind Erzu..." It means: Remember your ancestors well, cultivate virtue well.
Zeng Zi was sick to the point of death, probably lying on the bed, letting the disciples open the quilt to see that their hands and feet were intact, their bodies were intact everywhere, and their filial piety was not lost, and they would not lose again in the future. "I know that I am free of husbands", because I am about to say goodbye to the world, I can now sum up: this body, its hair and body skin, are all born of my parents, I am well protected, did not let it be hurt, this is the first step of filial piety. a good beginning makes a good ending, and the good beginer ends well. Bad beginning makes a bad ending, and the bad beginning is not a good ending.
When it comes to how princes should be filial, the Book of Filial Piety also quotes the Book of Poetry:
"Not arrogant in the upper, high but not dangerous, restrained and prudent, full but not overflowing." High but not dangerous, so long to keep expensive; full but not overflowing, so long to keep rich. The rich and the noble do not leave their bodies, and then they can protect their society and their people. Filial piety of the princes.
