Laiyuan Township Shangcun is located in the hinterland of Meihuashan Nature Reserve in western Fujian, about 800 meters above sea level, about 60 kilometers away from Liancheng County, and now has jurisdiction over 4 natural villages of Zhongcun, Shangcun, Chenjia and Niujia, with more than 600 people in the village. Here the air is sweet and the scenery is beautiful; here the mountains are undulating, the clouds are swirling; here the ancient trees are towering, covering the sky... It is a good place for leisure and ecological tourism.
Throughout the year, the fields and forests are full of flowers and melons and fruits. In autumn, the fields are golden and the cascading terraces unfold, forming a beautiful painting with the quiet village.
This is the "Siberia" of liancheng, and here is the paradise of Tao Yuanming's pen. In the past, it was inaccessible and rarely seen by outsiders except local residents. The township is so small that there is only one street, and there are only a few storefronts, and even every dog that walks on the street is easily recognized by the locals. Nowadays, the caves here have become famous all over the world, and the caves such as Xianyun Cave, Youqin Cave, Shiyan Cave, and Air Conditioning Cave constitute a beautiful landscape.
Laiyuan Cave cluster heaven and earth essence, after hundreds of millions of years of gestation, is the largest group of caves found in Fujian, is an important part of the Guanzhishan National Geopark, known as "Liandong Stone Traces". CCTV's "Geography, China" and "Exploration and Discovery" columns have entered the field many times, and have done a lot of scientific research reports on the mysterious phenomenon of caves and ancient creatures such as the "Chinese salamander". The cave is winding and twisting, and the wonders are like being in a labyrinth. It is said that there are more than 20 caves here, the most spectacular of which are Xianyun Cave, Youqin Cave and Shiyan Cave.
Xianyun Cave sits on the mountainside, and the mouth of the cave is full of clouds and fog all year round, which is called "air outlet cave" by locals. The cave is lined with strange rocks, peaks and peaks, stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars. The cave is wide and narrow, and in a trance, it is like a dream, as if it has mistakenly entered the peach blossom source, and it is like a heavenly palace, and I don't know what year it is. Listen with bated breath, the spring water clanging, the flowing water. In summer, the cave is breezy, and in winter, the cave is warm and melting. There is a huge stalactite wall in the cave, the sound of the sound of the sound is extremely quiet, extremely clear, like a drum like a bell, perhaps, this is the legendary stone drum or stone bell!
A mile away from Xianyun Cave is Youqin Cave. The mouth of the cave lies low on the banks of the river at the foot of the mountain, and the sweet spring in the cave gushes out from the rock crevice and converges into a river, and the sound of the spring is ding-dong, and the sound is quiet, just like the palace women playing the guqin, hence the name. The mouth of the cave is like a buffalo lying brook, so the locals also call it "buffalo cave". The stalactites in the cave are either long or short, thick or thin, some hanging from the sky, such as the tabernacle, like a screen; some curved and overlapping, such as roller blinds, like light yarn... There are many forms and weather. Usually, the spring water in the cave is crystal clear, and transparent small fish and shrimp can be seen. Sometimes, the sky outside the cave is clear, but the water in the cave is muddy, which is very strange. According to legend, there were children who let ducks in the mountains and streams outside the cave, and when they did not pay attention, the ducks followed the water into the cave to feed, and they did not come out for a long time. Children and their families lit torches, went into the cave to search for miles without success, afraid that the torches would burn out, and had to return home. Unexpectedly, a few days later, the ducks swam out of Longyan Songyang Village, dozens of miles away.
Shiyan Cave and Youqin Cave look at each other from afar, the stone swallows in the cave resemble bats, hanging upside down on the cave wall, once alarmed, they will fly out of the cave in groups, rushing out of the cave, and the buzzing sound is endless. The stone swallow cave is like a honeycomb, and there are holes in the hole. A hall in the cave is dedicated to the statues of Guanyin and the gods of the land, and there is an endless stream of good men and women.
Nowadays, Youqin Cave has been developed as a tourist attraction, and Laiyuan Cave is also known as the "First Cave Group in East China". At the mouth of Youqin Cave, a beautiful ancient covered bridge lies on top of Qingxi, the name of the bridge is "Bandung", which is "Nine Caves Thoroughfare". The bridge body is a pure wood structure, with cornices and angles, simple and elegant. The top of the bridge is in the shape of a hexagonal tower, and the six sides of the pen paint eight immortal figures, which are vivid and dazzling. After three or four hundred years of vicissitudes, Bandung Bridge still spans between green mountains and green waters, like a rainbow of sleeping waves. Although hidden in the mountains, it is still difficult to hide its beauty, but it is actually a beautiful scenery of Lai Yuan.
On January 7, 1930, just after the End of the Gutian Conference, Mao Zedong led the Second Column of the Red Fourth Army from Gutian in Shanghang, via Buyun, Shuangche, Meicun, and Zhuguan to Laiyuan, Liancheng, for two days to rest, and then through Yong'an into Qingliu and Ninghua, until Jiangxi, where he met Zhu De, who had arrived earlier. At that time, because the scouts of the vanguard unit could not hear the local dialect, they mistakenly heard Laiyuan's Chenjia Village as "Qianjia Village", so they chose the Chenjia Natural Village in Shangcun to camp and rest. During this period, Mao Zedong lived in the Taiyuan Hall of Chenjia Village, and the former site of the Political Department of the Red 21st Army and the Township Soviet Government was located in the Shangcun Guan Gong Hall. Since then, the Red Army has been stationed in Laiyuan many times and carried out arduous revolutionary struggles, and Laiyuan has become an important base area for the three-year guerrilla war in the "Yanlianning Border Region" and is known as the "Xiaojinggang" in the period of guerrilla warfare in western Fujian. The Cave of Uemura Ishihokura became a secret Red Army hospital, known locally as the "Red Army Cave". To this day, the village still retains many Red Army slogans, telling the past like smoke.
It is said that there are thousands of willow fir trees in Shangcun, of which 6 need to be hugged by 4 people, and more than 1,000 trees need to be hugged by two or three people, which is one of the villages with the largest number of natural willow firs in western Fujian. When we strolled to the mountain of the "Old House Field" in Uemura, we saw 6 ancient willow firs pointing directly to the sky, lush and full of life. One of the 700-year-old ancient cedar trees also grew two unknown broad-leaved trees in the cracks in its body, which is a spectacle.
Looking up at the upper village, the surrounding mountains are undulating, the forest and the sea are vast, the streams are crisscrossed, and the strange is crisscrossed... What a beautiful landscape painting. In the painting, it is quiet, quaint, no need for human habitation, and it is already a paradise, which is fascinating.
Come here, no words, no need to guide, strolling, aimlessly hesitating on the country road, looking down at the fields and small flowers and grasses, you can be in a daze, you can reverie, you can breathe deeply without fear. The air here is sweet and straight to the heart, and the flowers and plants here are as clean as a wash, like the sky here, clean and flawless, bright and beautiful. At this time, the flowers and plants are the masters, you whisper with them, your heart is imprinted, you must be oblivious, forget all the hustle and bustle of the world, forget the fame and fortune, forget the love of the cause, leaving only a trace of tranquility, a trace of indifference, a trace of pride, a trace of self-satisfaction.
As long as you are willing, you can stay at the farm and slowly taste the delicious dishes such as wild vegetables and fresh shoots, wild flowers and wild nectar, brook fish and snails, native chicken and duck, and of course, the aged wine and alpine wild tea here. Summer night, or the moon is in the sky, or the sky is full of stars, the mountain breeze, the sound of frogs, the night is as cold as water, you will definitely be happy and lingering.
