Longchitou Village is a new type of sightseeing rural community
Taiwan's "Economic Daily" published an article on September 30 to introduce longchitou village, a cultural site in Zhoukou, Henan, which was once a poor village, and now, thanks to rural tourism, Longchitou village has been built as a tourist rural community.
Legend has it that in ancient times, a yellow dragon was coiled in the Daze of the Sun of Yingshui, traveling clouds and rain, benefiting the people, called the Dragon Pond; it was the feng shui treasure land where the dragon head pillow was, so it was named Longchitou, which gave birth to ten natural villages of "one dragon, two bays, three scenes and four villages".
Longchitou Village, located in Honghua Market Town, Xihua County, Zhoukou City, was once a poor village. Today, thanks to the gift of rural tourism, Longchitou Village has built a new type of community with high standards in accordance with the design concept of "ecology, tourism and livability", and the appearance of the village has been significantly improved, creating a rural community for tourism and tourism. At present, the village has preserved historical and cultural sites such as Liangmatai Cultural Site, Jincitang Cultural Site, Songqiaokou Cultural Site and so on.
Osprey, also known as cormorant, is also known as "catching fish bird" in many places, and resembles a duck, mostly found in freshwater lakes and rivers in Jiangxi. In the Zhoukou Shaying River, there is also such an osprey tribe.
Xihua County, Jifang Town, Huai River tributary Shahe river and Yinghe River pass through here; these two rivers not only watered 10,000 acres of fertile land, but also achieved the unique "osprey tribe" here. Local old people said that the history of osprey fishing here is not very long, it was learned from the master of Luohe Luocheng decades ago; now most of the "osprey tribes" are mostly elderly people, and whenever they are idle, they take five or six ospreys to "group" to the predetermined waters.
When you get to the water, after driving the osprey into the water, you first cast a net to set up a "blockade line", drinking loudly, while slapping the water surface with a long bamboo pole for rowing, hitting the water and frightening the fish. When there was a commotion under the water, without waiting for the master's order, the ospreys plunged into the water, and after only a few moments, the ospreys drilled out of the water, holding a fish that was jumping around alive in their mouths. When fishing, the owner will tie a short rope around the neck of the osprey to prevent them from "stealing". Nowadays, with the development of breeding technology, osprey fishing is rare, and it is more of a leisure and entertainment activity in the spare time of farming.
The Jianye Green Base in Zhoukou is also a good place for rural tourism. Relying on the old canal with a strong history, the base creates a commercial ancient town on both sides of the river, restores the prosperity of the commercial port that was used as a major waterway in the Ming and Qing dynasties of the old canal, and restores the canal ancient street full of historical, cultural and regional characteristics with the connotation of Zhoukou "canal culture". 【Source: Overseas Network】
