The F1 Mexican Grand Prix preview | plateau or stage a key battle for the annual championship

This weekend, the 18th leg of the 2021 F1 Grand Prix in Mexico kicks off in Mexico City. Two weeks ago at the U.S. Grand Prix, Verstappen beat Hamilton to win his eighth race of the season with less than a second advantage, extending the drivers' lead in the standings to 12 points. The Rodriguez Brothers Circuit in Mexico City, the highest track this season, is bound to add more uncertainty to this title race.

Watch:

The high altitude of the Rodriguez Brothers Circuit will put some technical pressure on the cars of the various teams, and the performance of the engine in the thin air will be the key to determining the outcome of the race. Meben's car has been difficult to satisfy on this track, and if there is no good result at the end of this campaign, Hamilton's points in the drivers' table of the year will be further thrown off by Verstappen. Red Bull Racing, which has been in good shape recently, has had drivers on the podium for three consecutive stops, and two drivers have been sent to the podium in Turkey and the United States in a row. Red Bull Racing staff even said that if it were not for the loss of more than 50 points due to bad luck, the title battle between Verstappen and Hamilton would have lost suspense long ago. The next stops in Mexico and Brazil will be the key battle for the two drivers to compete for the title.
