Xian Xinghai, who was called a people's musician by Chairman Mao, can be described as a musical wizard of a generation, but unfortunately, he died of illness in Moscow in 1945 and did not see the establishment of a new China for which he fought. Sin Was born in 1905 in Macau to a poor fisherman's family, where his father died very early. In his early years, he followed his mother to Malaysia to earn a living, and his musical initiation was completed at the YangZheng School in Singapore, joining the orchestra. 1918 was a turning point in Xian Xinghai's musical career when he entered Lingnan University to study violin. Because his family was relatively poor, he applied to the school to allow him to work and study half-time. While insisting on learning music, he also had to work part-time to earn money, and in order to be able to satisfy his stomach, he had to do all kinds of chores and tiring work, and he was stunned to complete his studies. After that, he went to Beijing, Shanghai and other highest music schools in China to continue to study violin and piano, and published music that is popular in music shorts.

Determined to become an international musician, Xian Xinghai went to France in 1929 to study and met many of the world's top violin masters and composers. In 1931, he became the first Chinese student to be successfully admitted to the composition class of Shora Kontolum at the Conservatoire de Paris. During his stay in France, he composed many repertoire such as Wind and Wandering Zi Yin. In 1935, with the increasing rise of the domestic anti-Japanese salvation movement, Xian Xinghai resolutely returned to the motherland and threw himself into the War of Resistance. Others used guns to resist Japan on the battlefield, xian Xinghai used popular and inspiring music to fill the spiritual food for the chinese people, and created many songs that doubled the morale of the national army and made the devils feel frightened. Many of the military songs of the Eighth Route Army and the Kuomintang army were written by Xian Xinghai. The song of the National Salvation Army, the song of the guerrilla army, the song of the guerrilla army, the road is opened by us, to the rear of the enemy, on the Taihang Mountain, and so on.

In 1938, Xian Xinghai went to Yan'an, the revolutionary base area, to serve as the head of the music department of Lu Xun Art Institute. In addition to teaching, he created the immortal Yellow River Chorus, production chorus and other famous works. In May 1940, Xian Xinghai was sent by the Party Central Committee to the Soviet Union to participate in the production of documentary music in Yan'an and the Eighth Route Army, but because the Soviet Union encountered a German fascist invasion at this time, the Soviet-German war hindered his way back. During his stay in the Soviet Union, Xian Xinghai composed works such as Symphonic Sacred Battle, National Liberation, orchestral Chinese Rhapsody, etc., with a total of more than 300 works and 35 music papers. In 1945, Xian Xinghai died of lung disease in Moscow at the age of 40 due to long-term malnutrition and tired work. In 2009, Xian Xinghai was named one of the 100 heroic models who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China, which is well deserved.
