It should be hard for anyone not to have heard of Angelina Jolie, right? She has spanned actors and filmmakers for nearly four years, worked in various genres, won numerous honors, is one of Hollywood's super-paid actresses, and is one of the most influential figures in the film and television industry, and most of them talk about her. Joining the Marvel movie "Eternals" directed by Zhao Ting this time means that her drama path has deepened and broadened, officially ushering in a new chapter in her career.

Prior to the release, Angelina Jolie exclusively shared her role as Tina, why Zhao Ting was the perfect person to direct the film, and her relationships with other actors on set.

Details about the Eternals

The Eternals have been around for a long time, and this story is about their coming to Earth from the beginning and their relationship with humans, they evolved as humans evolved, they were immortal aliens, forming a team to protect humanity.

What superpowers does the character Tina have?

Tina is a goddess of war who can wield multiple weapons in her hands.

When all the actors come together, what do you think about the costumes and equipment?

It was a fun day, because when you're alone in that kind of dress, standing in a trailer looking at yourself, you can't help but think, "What the hell am I doing?" I'm actually wearing superhero clothes." As we got together, we started joking about who was about to become a popular outfit for Halloween.

How does it relate to other actors on set?

It's funny, I don't know if this is because Zhao Ting is good at shaping each of us, but it feels like we've known each other before, I don't know where this feeling comes from, and everyone quickly became friends. The person who played the most against me was Ma Dongxi, and we naturally immediately drew closer, and there was a feeling of being inseparable.

How is Tina different from the other Eternals?

Tina is very uncomfortable with life on Earth, she doesn't know how to exist as a civilian, lover or friend, but she does know war, she knows her role and abilities in battle, but she doesn't know how to go to parties or socialize.

Why is Zhao Ting a great choice to direct this film?

Zhao Ting is an extraordinary candidate. I know she's going to make a difference, but I don't really know in what way, because it's a big movie with a lot of scope and time span, and it's a big challenge in terms of effects and special effects. This is important because you have ten different brand new characters, how you're going to import and create them, and learn everything about them: personality, background, history, type of battle, etc.

When I watched the film, I didn't know how she did it, I didn't know how she balanced so many aspects, and what surprised me was the authenticity of it, the epic film felt very personal, touching, very human. I believe that is her talent.

Can you tell us more about Tina's relationship with Gilgamesh?

They are like comrades in arms and partners, knowing each other and fighting side by side. There are a lot of strong female characters in the movie now, but a strong woman and a strong man she can rely on, as this movie presents, is the bond I want to see.

What issues must the role overcome?

Tina is like a soldier, influenced by battle memories, suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or moral trauma disorder, she would fantasize that a battle was coming at her, so she was always in a state of mental tension, a lot of her struggles were just to scare herself, I understand how she felt.

What is your favorite clip or scene from a movie?

For me, when I see it, I'm happy to see great pictures of other people because I know these actors, I know their character, I see this family being built, and very few people see a film that contributes and expresses equally in the work. I'm in awe of everyone else in the movie.

Marvel movies are known for their action, but in Eternals we see more personal moments, how do we find a balance?

While [Marvel] worked hard to make these movies and took the fans seriously, providing them with the right plays and characters and stories, then they were happy too. In each scene, when faced with a challenge, they look for ways to add highlights, and the actors are encouraged to try to find those things when performing as well.

What do you expect viewers to see?

I'm excited about the fact that I want a lot of people to see themselves as superheroes that these people may never have seen themselves as superheroes before.
