Jinze Ancient Town is located in Jinze Town, Qingpu District, is a national AAA-level tourist attraction, with a long history and profound cultural heritage, which has a history of more than 1300 years, and has the saying of "flourishing in the Song Dynasty and flourishing in the Yuan". Legend has it that in the past, there was a "man who won zeru gold", and because of this, the land was a water town, and it was rich in fish and rice saijin, which was named Kanazawa. Shangtang Street and Xiatang Street are old streets, with a total length of about 1000 meters from north to south, from Yingxiang Bridge in the south to Golden Eagle Bridge in the north. Located at the intersection of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai provinces and one city, Jinze Ancient Town is the only town in Shanghai bordering Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and is the "West Gate" connecting Shanghai to Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
Kanazawa Ancient Town has a long history of bridge and temple culture, carrying a unique cultural landscape of "bridges have temples, temples and temples have bridges". According to historical records, Kanazawa originally had "six views, one tower, thirteen squares, and forty-two rainbow bridges". To this day, the town still preserves seven ancient bridges built by the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, namely Yingxiang Bridge, Ruyi Bridge, Fangsheng Bridge, Puji Bridge, Emperor Pavilion Bridge, Wan'an Bridge and Linlao Bridge. Originally built in the Song Dynasty, Puji Bridge is the best-preserved and oldest single-hole stone arch bridge in Shanghai. The distribution of the Kanazawa Ancient Bridge is dense, the form is rich, and the age is incomparable to other ancient towns, so it is known as "Jiangnan First Bridge Township" and "Ancient Bridge Museum". Mr. Qian Junzao, a famous calligrapher and seal engraver, once inscribed "Kanazawa Ancient Bridge Jia Tianxia" for it.
Here, those small bridges with different architectural styles, bridges and temples are connected, with diverse forms, antique colors, and varied forms, which is the characteristic of Kanazawa Ancient Town, and also the source of the deep vein of ancient rhyme.
As part of the Bridge Temple culture, the "Yihao Zen Temple", located in the ancient town and built in the early years of the Song Dynasty's Jingding Dynasty, once dominated Jiangnan with 5,048 magnificent buildings. The Songjiang Fu Zhi says that "although the spirit of Hang is hidden, Su Zhi Chengtian, and Mo Qiwei". Here is Zhao Mengfu left a thousand ancient scrolls "continuous clouds", with a history of 700 years of ancient ginkgo biloba.
The annual Kanazawa Temple Fair, an intangible cultural heritage of the city (the 28th of the third month of the lunar calendar and the 9th of the first month of September), has also derived a variety of local cultures such as folklore, food, and performing arts.
Kanazawa Town is a national ecological town, a national health town, and the sixth batch of Chinese historical and cultural towns in China. In August 2017, Kanazawa was selected as one of the first batch of sports and leisure characteristic towns in the country by the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China - Shanghai Jinze Sailing And Leisure Characteristic Town. At present, Jinze Town, together with the neighboring Zhujiajiao Town in Qingpu District, Lili Town in Wujiang District, Xitang Town and Yaozhuang Town in Jiashan County, is the first launch area of the Yangtze River Delta Ecological Green Integration Demonstration Zone, and Kanazawa Zhengyong is the pathfinder, vanguard and commando team for the construction of the demonstration area, contributing wisdom and strength to promoting the integrated development of the ecological green in the Yangtze River Delta and the coordinated development of the Qingxi region.
