Rudolf Buchbinder

Rudolf Buchbinder , born On December 1, 1946 , was a classical pianist from Austria.

He has performed as a guest in many prestigious orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic, the National Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic, the National Symphony orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Among the world's top conductors he has worked with are Claudio Abbado, Christopher von Donay, Gustav Dudamel, Frubek Burgos, Carro Maria Giulini, Nigulaus Hanoncut, Lorraine Maazel, Kurt Masur, Zubin Mehta, Yuka Pekka Salast, Wolfgang Savalisz and Christian Tillemann. If it is not a simple child to be able to play at the age of five, then it is simply a fantasy to enter a music conservatory at the age of five. But Buchbinder was one such prodigy who was admitted to the Vienna Conservatory at the age of five, becoming the youngest student in the academy's history. He gave his first public concert at the age of nine and entered Bruno at the age of twelve. Bruno Seidlhofer's master class, which included Friedrich. Gulda. At the age of twenty, he was with Van at Beethoven. Claiborne passed the piano competition and won two first prizes. He also enjoyed chamber music, with collaborators including violinist Joseph. Sukh and cellist Janos. Stark.

Buchbinder's hobbies are very extensive, in addition to collecting numerous versions of Beethoven's piano sonatas, he will work tirelessly in his spare time, is a veritable double-minded artist in the world of painting music. He has held his own exhibitions, declaring that the style belongs to the unique "fantasy realism", and the most admired painter is the Dutchman Hironimos. Bosch with the Spanish master Picasso.

Buchbinder's ability to use time is quite amazing, claiming to be able to do things for twenty-four hours in one day because "the left hand is doing one thing, and the right hand is doing another." "This manifests itself in piano playing precisely the absolute independence of both hands (and feet on the pedals). As soon as his students made some kind of unconscious concomitant action while playing, Buchbinder immediately pointed it out and criticized it mercilessly.

Buchbinder scoffed at the "six hours or more a day" that his peers used to practice: "I can't concentrate on the piano for six hours, and I only sit next to it when I can fit into an instrument." To practice, you have to practice like a concert. This would have been exhausting in half an hour. I didn't want to sit there and do finger exercises. It's better to read a book. ”
