ESPN reported that NBA star Michael Jordan recently participated in The Big Rock Blue Marlins Championship, and his teammate Catch 23 caught a 200 kg (442.3 lb) marlin.
The winner of the tournament who catches the largest marlin will receive $1.1 million in prize money, and the boat that catches the first 500 pounds will receive $550,000 in prize money.
The marlin caught by Jordan ranked 5th in weight, so it didn't get the prize money. But Jordan can also take two days off to continue fishing, and the heaviest marlin currently caught in the tournament is 494.2 pounds.
