The small foyer transforms into a super storage space

Before the renovation, the entrance hall was narrow, missing function, dim lighting, and there was a high threshold with the bathroom, and the old couple got up at night, and it was very unsafe to go up and down the steps.

Demolition of partition walls to improve lighting. After the renovation, the designers removed the partition wall between the living room and the kitchen to improve the lighting of the entrance, and at the same time used the side space of the kitchen package riser to create a hallway storage cabinet to increase the entrance storage function.

Lower the threshold stone and eliminate safety hazards. At the same time, the designer also greatly reduced the threshold height of the entrance hall and the bathroom, and used the same color threshold stone as a transition, which is beautiful and eliminates the safety hazards of the elderly living.

Tear down the wall and open the window, and the kitchen will light up

Before the transformation, the kitchen lighting is insufficient, and the lights cannot be seen during the day; the kitchen operation countertop is too narrow, but if you make a few more dishes, the countertop is stuffed to the full, seriously encroaching on the operating space; and because of insufficient ventilation, the cabinet board is seriously corroded, and even mold is generated, and it is difficult to ensure dietary hygiene.

Tear down the wall and open the window, and the kitchen will light up. Due to the removal of the partition wall, the countertop has the opportunity to be widened and the kitchen has become brighter; the new windows on the wall have also greatly improved the lighting and ventilation of the kitchen, while ensuring the safety and hygiene of the cabinets.

The dark chamber turns bright in seconds

Before the renovation, due to the lack of windows in the home, the living room even during the day, as long as the lights are not turned on, it is a dark room that cannot see five fingers, and long-term residence is very affecting physical and mental health.

Designers mainly solve the problem of insufficient lighting in two ways:

(1) Connect the space and increase the lighting.

The designer has connected the living room with the kitchen, balcony and bedroom to make the living room fully filled.

In the bedroom balcony area, the balcony window is replaced with a flat open type, increasing the light transmittance, and removing the original drying area so that the sunlight can directly shine into the living room; in the kitchen area, the partition wall between the living room and the kitchen is removed, and a new window is opened on the kitchen wall, and a small bar is made in front of the window, which introduces the light from the kitchen into the living room and promotes family communication.

(2) Simple and bright color matching + line lights wash the wall to brighten the space.

The color scheme is simple and crisp. The color scheme of the whole room is as bright and light as possible, such as warm white walls, warm yellow furniture, light gray floor tiles, so that the living room looks brighter and larger.

Line lights wash the walls. Due to the low floor height of the owner's home, it is not suitable for installing ceiling lights or chandeliers, and the designer uses LED line lights on the top surface to light up the wall with lights, and then reflects through the wall to make the entire living room light up.

Before the renovation, the owner's family had a habit of gathering every week, but it was inconvenient for eight people to sit in the dim and narrow living room.

Stretchable table design to solve the problem of gathering. The designers chose a table that can be stretched, and when friends and family come to a party, simply stretch the table and move it to the sofa to accommodate up to ten people.

Rotatable TV cabinet. The rotatable TV cabinet allows the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, etc. to share a TV, making great use of resources and space.

Rationally plan functional areas and create composite spaces

The second bedroom before the transformation not only made it difficult to get out of bed and walk, but also had to enter the cabinet every time he took the clothes, which was extremely inconvenient.

After the renovation, the second bedroom not only has a separate work table and bedside table, the wardrobe setting is more reasonable, the hanging area has everything in the folding area, and there is no need to drill into the cabinet to find things.

Master bedroom + balcony

The master bedroom before the renovation could not meet the needs of Grandma and grandson at the same time, Grandma had to go to the balcony every time she painted, and the paintings could only be hung with clothes; the balcony, as the best place for lighting and ventilation, was completely wasted.

After the renovation, the designers re-planned the balcony and bedroom function areas to create a super composite space.

Under the table between the balcony and the bedroom, the designer added a pullable partition design to meet the needs of Grandma who has an independent painting space, and there is also a storage compartment under the table for storing the painting axis, and a whole wooden grille wall is a space for Auntie to hang paintings and enjoy paintings.

At the same time, an additional operating table is set up on the balcony to let the little grandson read books, so as not to disturb each other with the grandmother, and there are interconnected windows between the balcony and the kitchen, and the grandfather can observe the dynamics of the little grandson at any time when cooking.

In addition, the designer uses the four sides of the balcony to create a storage cabinet up to 10 meters long, which can not only be installed, but also solve the problem of balcony insulation.

The washing machine is placed outside to solve the laundry problem

Before the renovation, the biggest problem of the bathroom was the difficulty of washing, not only had to be manually connected to the inlet pipe and the drainage pipe below each time, but also because the bathroom was not separated, the bathroom could not be used every time when washing clothes. At the same time, the bathroom also has an unreasonable height of the sink and lack of storage space.

Washing machine outside. The designer used the side space of the kitchen package riser to create a cabinet under the entrance storage cabinet to place a washing machine, which can not only solve the problem of laundry in the owner's home, but also free up more space for the bathroom to do dry and wet separation.

Niche design + built-in storage table for increased storage space. Designers added niche design to the bathroom, adjusted the height of the washstand, and set up an embedded storage platform on the wall to make the bathroom more orderly and staggered.

At this point, the 55㎡ dim two-bedroom apartment has been transformed into a family of eight, and the problems such as lighting, painting, dinner, and laundry have all been solved.

1. Brighten up the space and make the vision bigger

Designers use LED linear lights to wash the wall effect to make the space light up; use simple and bright color matching to make the visual effect of the space larger; use the space connection method to maximize the sense of indoor transparency, which can improve lighting and ventilation, but also enhance the visual effect, which is more spacious.

2. Storage upgrades

The designer used the golden horn and silver edge rule of storage to make storage cabinets on all the idle walls and corners in the room. For example, the original kitchen wall is made into a cabinet that can be stored on three sides; at the same time, in the idle area in the middle of the wall, a partition is added, and items can be placed at will. After the renovation, the storage space of the whole house has been increased by 3 times compared to the original!

1. Strong and weak electricity construction process

According to the standard construction process, the strong and weak electricity cannot be the same tube and the same box, and need to be laid separately. Strong and weak current because of the DIFFERENT AC frequency and mode of transportation, the same tube and the same box to lay will cause interference, and once the strong current leakage, the weak current system will not work properly, so it must be laid separately.

2. Wall paint construction process

(1) Wall solidity. First paint the wall solid on the original wall to cover up the dust.

(2) Gypsum leveling + hanging mesh cloth. Then use plaster to level to ensure the flatness of the wall, and hang a grid cloth after leveling to prevent the wall from cracking.

(3) Putty layer. Putty usually has to be scraped twice, and after scraping the putty layer, remember to sand, increase the adhesion of the primer, and ensure that the topcoat is uniform and has no color difference.
