After Han Yunzhong, Han Jian and Liu Xiangdao and Liu Qixian, there were three more Xinxian people in the late Tang and early Song dynasties, namely Lu Sui, Bi Shi'an and Wang Dan. Here first let's talk about Lu Sui.

Tang Dezong
Lu Sui's father, Lu Bi (路泌), was appointed as a lieutenant of Chang'an in the fourth year of Jianzhong (783). Tubo invaded, Emperor Dezong fled to Liang Prefecture (梁州, in modern Hanzhong), accompanied by Lu Bi, who was wounded by an arrow in the rebellion, and served as a deputy marshal judge under Hun Yao, and was later taken hostage by Tubo when he accompanied Hun Yu to Pingliang (present-day Gansu Province).
Tubo people
In order to appease Lu Bi's descendants, Emperor Xianzong of Tang appointed Lu Sui as the assassin of Dai Prefecture (绛州, in modern Xindi, Shanxi), and solemnly treated Lu Bi with a solemn funeral. Later, he appointed Lu Sui as the editor of the Left Supplementary Que History Museum.
Tang Xianzong
After Muzong succeeded to the throne, Lu Sui was successively promoted to the rank of Scholar of Lectures, Zhongshu Sheren, Bachelor of Hanlin, Bachelor of Chengzhi, and Waiter of bingbu. Whoever gave gifts, Lu Sui refused, on the grounds that he was not allowed to do things for the state and was not given privately.
Tang Muzong
After Emperor Wenzong ascended the throne, he appointed Lu Sui as Zhongshu Shilang (中書侍郎) and Tong zhongshu menxia Pingzhangshi (同中書門下平章事), and was responsible for supervising the revision of the history of the country. At this time, although Lu Sui did not have much real power, he was already the prime minister in name.
Tang Wenzong
Han Yu's "Records of Shunzong" involved some palace matters, touching the interests of eunuchs, and Emperor Wenzong ordered Lu Sui to make corrections. Lu Sui advocated not to change it casually, but only corrected some errors, and then published it to the Shiguan.
