This year's honeyGIRL × ALEXSTORM joined hands for the second time, with the theme of "in a relationship bondage", using a vivid color design to show the spiritual world of sweet and cool girls and contemporary youth built from it, and profiled the current youth cultural group portrait. ALEXSTORM x honeyGIRL 2022 SPRING /SUMMER "in a relationship" series tries to express the current cool girls and people's intimate relationship with themselves and others in different environments or occasions, designer Liu Baiyu wants to try to show the secret emotions and romance of boys and girls from different states.
Interpret romantic emotional exploration with color
The opening LOOK debuts with colorful webbing accessories and honeyGIRL co-branded shoes with black suits, opening the different styles of this season's collection, from the sense of commuting form at work, to the wear of daily life, to the relaxed and casual feeling of vacation... Use each color to interpret different life states to convey different emotional connotations, blue represents the breath of romance and tranquility, white represents the pure reverie of the heart, pink represents enthusiasm and sweetness, green represents natural and relaxed emotions... Inspired by the intimate contact of the relationship interaction between people and people, the designer explores the multiple modes of emotion with artistic techniques, depicting the indescribable relationship between people. Not only is love rolling up in the intricate world, but other intimate relationships are also important lines that shape the world's closely connected network. Behind every outfit, there may be an untold story of bondage that gives new meaning from the fit with the body.
A world shrouded in bondage
We are always exploring the emotions and relationships between people, and we will continue to form different "bonds" with the people around us throughout our lives. What is a "bondage"? It is an old enemy, a friend, a confidant, a person you want to surpass the most and is difficult to give up, a chess opponent, a pity for each other, a destiny, and a wishful thinking.
The "bondage" print that appears in the series is a print jointly designed by the designer to invite the illustrator Mr. Vinumen, and the print contains the hands of the artist and the designer who observe and sketch out different intimate relationship states from life and works of art, there are clenched hands, there are hands that want to be close to each other and want to touch, there are hands that hold each other, there are hands that hold each other, and there are hands with ten fingers clasped... The relationship and distance between people and people can be clearly felt through the movement of the hand in many cases. If a person's dress is the manifestation of our inner spiritual world, the expression and identification or flaunting of our different identities, how do we aspire to show in the "bondage", and what kind of self-spiritual world is revealed in the dress.
